Proud grandparents are Ted and Elaine Furey of Mt. Carmel and Ed (Linda) Anderson and Phyllis (Ken) Levy of Petitcodiac, N.B. Kathleen is the second great-grandchild for Mabel Furey of St. Joseph's. Thanks to nurses Dinah, Margaret Ann and Christine. Special thanks to Dr. Lacelle for her care and dedication, you are truly an amazing person. Samuel and Kathleen would also like to thank Nana Furey for her help and support before and after the delivery.

Mike and Sherry (Lush) are thrilled to announce the early and safe arrival of precious baby Jessica Lynn, a new baby sister for Sarah, and a new granddaughter for Joan, Bernadette and John. Jessica was born on Saturday, February 7, 2004, at 3:15 a.m. weighing 6 lbs., 9 ozs. Many thanks to Dr. Cherry Pike for her excellent prenatal care, to Dr. Seviour and all of the caseroom staff that helped bring Jessica into this world.

HEALEY - A girl! Charleen (nee Parrott) and Brian welcome their first child, Sarah Mary, born February 12, 2004, weighing 7 lbs. 14 oz. Proud grandparents are Maureen & Tony Healey and Bridie (Tolson Stanley) and the late Charles Parrott. Surviving great-grandparents are Mary Davis, Mary Hickey and Angela Parrott. Thanks are extended to Drs. Chaytor and Kravitz for excellent pre and post natal care. Special thanks to nursing staff of caseroom and 5NB, especially Regina, Sue, Charlene, Diane, Lorna, Joan, Lisa, Paula, Sonia, April, Debbie, Bev, Rose, Judy. Thanks to the many physicians who monitored Mom during labour and post-operatively: Drs. Pike, Kum, Bautista, Bolis, Geumei, Howse, Parsons, Crane and Kabisios. Thanks also to Corrine and interns Tim and J.P. Thanks to those who called or visited and who kept us in their thoughts and prayers. A special thank you to Aunt Michelle for her help in the caseroom. And finally, Mommy and Sarah especially thank Daddy for all his love and support along the way.

Bethany is welcomed by a large circle of friends and family, especially grandparents Ray and Ada Hopkins (Mt. Pearl) and great-grandmother Wilhelmina Goodyear (Lumsden). Watching over Bethany from Heaven are Nanny (Marcella) and Poppy (Tom) O'Neill. We would also like to thank Dr. Roache for her excellent pre-natal care. The staff of 5NB along with Dr. Pike and staff of the caseroom especially Karen Murray for Bethany's safe delivery. Mommy would like to say a big thank you to Daddy for being a wonderful coach and taking such great care of his girls. A special thank you to Aunt Audrey (O'Rielly) for being such a great coach alongside daddy and all her help to mommy since coming home. P.S. That a girl!!!

KELLY - Proud parents Kevin and Debbie (Harris) are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of their precious daughter, Abigail Victoria, born on Friday, February 8, 2004, at 10:10 am, weighing 7 lb, 15.25 oz. Tickled pink by Abigail's arrival are Nanny Sarah Harris, Nana Paula Kelly, Poppy Edward Kelly, Great-Grandma's Mary Jardine and Sarah Barnes, Uncles Trevor and William Kelly, Aunt Beverly Hillier (Lester), Godparents Scott and Sandi Mackey, and special cousins Kimberley Hillier and Gavin Mackey. Lovingly remembered at this time is Alvin Harris, who would have been a terrific Grandpa to Abigail. A big thank you to Drs. Heidi Kravitz and Caroline Alteen for Mommy's excellent prenatal care. Special thanks to Drs. Kravitz,Geumei, Parsons, Seviour, and Badrudin, and to all the caseroom nurses foy their excellent support and ensuring Abigail's safe delivery, and to nurses Heather and Kim of 5NB for their excellent care of Mommy and Abigail. Big kisses and hugs to Daddy for all his love and support and for being a terrific coach.

MORRISSEY - Hi, my name is Zachary Thomas Morrissey. I arrived on February 24, 2004, weighing 8 lbs. 1 oz. Just in time to watch Montreal in the playoffs with my Daddy. My very proud parents are Scott Morrissey and Natalie Davis. I have two big brothers, Stephen and Daniel. My grandparents are Bert and Sharon Davis of St. John's and Francis and Bride Morrissey of Cuslett. Mommy asked me to thank all of the nurses and doctors that helpedus in the caseroom. A big thank you to Nanny Sharon, Koren and Daddy for helping Mom with my delivery. Stephen and Daniel asked me to thank Bride for taking care of them while mommy was in hospital.

Chris was born at the Victoria General Hospital on February 6, 2004 at 6:16 p.m. under the care of Dr. Nancy McLeod. Proud grandparents include Clarice Moore Reid, John Reid, Wenda Temple and Wilson Temple all residing in Newfoundland, and first time great-grandmother Florence Moore of Clarke's Beach. Chris is looking forward to his first trip to Newfoundland to celebrate Christmas 2004.

POWER - Randy and Jennifer (Colford) are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of their first child, a precious baby boy. Luke Michael was born on February 3, 2004 at 10:06 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. 13 oz. Luke is the first grandchild for Edward and Brenda Colford and the seventh for Hazel and the late Paddy Power. Luke is welcomed by his big brown buddy, Jigger, along with a loving circle of family and friends. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our wonderful doctor, Johanne Lacelle and amazing midwife, Robyn Beaudry for such exceptional pre and post natal care. Thank you to Dr. Kim, Dr. Boulos, Corrine Bursey and all the nurses for your help during our hospital stay. Also, thanks to all our family and friends for all your kindness and generosity. I would like to send an extra special thank you to my mom and Randy for all your love and support especially during that long night! Randy, we have a beautiful baby, you're the best. Lucky me, Lucky Luke.
