ANGEL - Two times the giggles, double the fun, twice as exciting as just having one. HART/BLONDE - Born at the Ottawa General Hospital on May 22, 2008, to Micca Hart (formerly of St. John's) and Timothy Blonde (formerly of Woodstock) currently of Ottawa, Ontario, a son, (Timothy) Cameron Blonde. At 8 lbs. 6 1/2 oz., he was a fine weight for a young sailor. Cameron is welcomed as the most recent and precious addition to the Connolly, Hart and Blonde families of Ontario and Newfoundland . He is also the newest great-grandson of Alice Sullivan Connolly of Manuels, CBS.

HOOPER - Ken and Sabeena Hooper are overjoyed to announce the birth of their first child, Kethan Kenneth Hooper. Kethan was born on May 9, 2008 weighing 8 lbs, 15 oz and measuring a tall 53 cm.  Kethan was enthusiastically welcomed by Nan & Pop Helen and Wayne Hooper, Nani Asha Daniel and Nana Eddison Daniel, a delighted Aunt Julie and Uncle Brian, his big Cousin Makayla and proud first-time Uncle Pritam Mamaji as well as Great-grandparents Les and Winnie Maddigan. KELLY - After 38 weeks in custody, the infamous ‘Kelly Twins', Jennifer and Jessica, made their escape on May 5^th, 2008. Jennifer is 5 lbs. 14 ozs with light brown hair (like Mommy's) and Jessica is 4 lbs. 9 ozs. with dark brown hair (used to be like Daddy's). Their parents, Michael and Leanne, and ‘Big Sister' Julia are suspected to be keeping them in safe hiding in Mount Pearl . The ‘Kelly Twins' are wanted for the many tender LUVS and HUGS. Jack was born at our home on May 13, 2008 at 5:47am , weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces. We want to thank our midwife, Jayme Safine for a wonderful delivery along with her assistant. As well, we would like to thank Aunt Bernadette for taking such great care of Ryan while mommy was having Jack. Jack is welcomed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as his grandmother, Jean Marks. Watching out for Jack from Heaven is nanny and poppy (Joan and Jerry) Power, and grandfather Gerald Marks.

RENDELL/O'ROURKE - Kristen and Michael are delighted to announce the birth of Sophia Rachel, born May 14, 2008. Thrilled to be grandparents are Eric and Dale Ann Rendell, and Bernice O'Rourke. Also welcoming Sophia are Aunt Erica and Elana Rendell, Aunt Jody, Uncle Jim and very special cousins Rachel, Jacob and Christopher. RUMBOLT - Mitch and Leanne (O'Leary) are thrilled to announce the early arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Katherine Maria. Born May 31, 2008 at 10:50 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz., Katherine (Kate) is welcomed by first-time grandparents Bernard and Sherry Rumbolt; grandmother Marie O'Leary; as well as a loving circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Watching over Katherine at all times with his warm smile is her special poppy, the late Brendan O'Leary. Mom and Dad extend special thanks to Dr. Callahan-Dyer and Dr. Roche for their pre-natal care and Dr. Collins and the case room staff who assisted in the delivery.

RYAN  - Rodney & Amanda (nee Kavanagh) & big sister Alyssa are delighted to announce the birth of their beautiful son Benjamin Joseph Ryan, born May 25, 2008 at 11:44 p.m., weighing 9 lbs. 6 ozs. Benjamin was welcomed into the world by grandparents Joe & Sandy Kavanagh, Pat & Matilda Ryan & Maureen Kavanagh, as well as great-grandparents Chris & Madeline Kavanagh, Margaret Ryan, Kathleen McCormack & June Noseworthy. Special thanks to Daddy & Angie for helping Mommy bring Benjamin into the world.

SEARS - Scott and Terri Lynn Sears are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of their second child, a precious beautiful son, Chase Terry Patrick, born May 6, 2008 at 3:04 p.m. weighing 7 lbs. 9 ozs. A little brother for Ava. Waiting to welcome Chase with lots of love were very proud grandparents Terry and Kathy Butt and grandparents Wayne and Cynthia Sears, along with Uncle Eddie. Chase is the first great-grandson for Poppy George Norman at Badger Lake. Also adored by great-grandmother Sears, great-grandmother Maher and great-grandparents Betty and Lewellyn Butt of Bishop's Falls. A huge thank you to Dr. Kravitz and all the staff at 5 North B for all their help. Special wishes from cousin Brayden and all family and friends.

SHORT - Stephen and Christa are proud to announce the birth of their son Brady Cameron on May 2, 2008. Welcoming Brady are loving grandparents Derek and Marie Short and Michael and Elizabeth McGrath. SNOOK / BROWN - Corey and Arwa are very happy to announce the healthy arrival of their son, Malik Ralph Snook!  Malik was born May 1, 2008 at 4:20 p.m., weighing 7 lbs. 7 ozs. He is welcomed by proud grandparents Jennifer Whitfield and Delilah and Robert Snook, as well as Uncle Blair, Aunt Colleen, and cousins, Emma and Tristan. Sincere thanks to Dr. Kravitz, Dr. Kum, Tammy, and the maternity ward nurses, especially Kelly and Rose, for their genuine care and support.

WALSH- Chris and Julianne (Woosley) are excited and very proud to announce the safe arrival of their precious baby boy, Jacob Christopher, born on May 11, 2008, at 11:44 a.m., weighing 8 lbs. 13 ozs. Welcoming Jacob are proud first time grandparents Ron and Joyce Walsh of Bay de Verde, Karen Woosley of Mount Pearl and Robert Woosley of Kentucky, great-grandmothers Edna Humber of Mt. WESTMAN - Eric and Trina (Tiller) excitedly announce the birth of their son, Samuel August Westman. Sam kicked his way into this world on May 6^th, 2008 in Omaha, Nebraska, at 7 lbs. 9ozs, 20 1/2" The future Husker was welcomed by Grandpa and Grandma, Tom and Sandi Westman, and jet-setter Nanna Joan Tiller in Omaha, while Poppy Sam Tiller celebrated with pride in St. John's. He was the first grandchild for all and the first great-grandchild for Great-Grandma Doris Westman! Also delighted to see him were Uncle Jason and Aunt Netta, Uncle Adam and Aunt Netta and Aunt Mandy, Auntie Jill and Great Aunt Evelyn. Meeting his entire Newfoundland family, Sam made his first trip home in June for his Uncle Troy and Aunt Monique's wedding, where he saw his first icebergs, whales and Screechers....but no moose.  On return to Omaha, he was quickly followed by his new cousins Lillian and Ryan.  Oh What a summer it was!

WHALEN - Randall and Jackie (Loder) are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Ethan Randall Whalen. Ethan was born 3:35 a.m. on May 31, 2008 at the Health Sciences Center (St. John's), weighing 8 lbs. 12 ozs. Our precious little angel is lovingly welcomed by grandparents Ed and Doreen Loder of Hillview and Walter and Annie Whalen of Caplin Cove. Also delighted by Ethan's arrival are his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

YOUDEN - It's a Boy! Kirk and Raquel (Hatch) & big sister Madison are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ryan Anderson on May 6^th, 2008. Ryan tipped the scales 8lbs 8 ounces and has been keeping grandparents Lil and Pete Hatch and grandmother Pat Youden on their toes. Extra special thanks to Dr. Heidi Kravitz and all the nurses and doctors at the Health Sciences Centre.  Special thanks to Dr. Susan & Dr. Steve Furlong for excellent pre-natal and post-natal care.
