Dale and Lesli Bowering are very happy to announce the arrival of their precious baby boy, born November 15th, 2000 at Memorial City Hospital, Houston, Texas, weighing 6 lbs. 9 ozs. A little brother for Lindsay. Proud grandparents are Geri and Vollie Rae of Houston and Frances and the late Ted Bowering of St. John's, Newfoundland.

Jim and Donna (nee Baldwin) and big brother Brendan are thrilled to announce the arrival of a beautiful baby girl, Katherine (Katie) Christina, born on November 9th, 2000 and weighing 7 lbs. 9 ¾ ozs. Proud grandparents are Max and Hazel Baldwin and Jim and Shirley Bradley and great-grandmothers Violet Dowden and Pearl Bradley. Proud parents Tana Green and Oslo Bridger are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their first child, Simon Charles, born November 14th, 2000 and weighing 7 lbs. 7 ½ ozs. Brinson / Simon
Norman, Ann Marie and Chad are pleased to announce the safe arrival of Christopher Eric on November 15th, 2000. Christopher arrived at 8:29 am and weighed in at 7 lbs. 8 ozs. Christopher's grandparents are Mrs. Madonna Simon of Cape St. George and Francis and Joan Brinson of Victoria Cove. Dan and Dianne (nee Fewer) of Port Clinton, Ohio are excited to announce the birth of their first child, a son, Conor Michael, 8 lbs., born November 7th, 2000 at Fremont, Ohio. Proud grandparents are Peter and Marion Fewer of Corner Brook, and Dan and Alice Cadigan of Logy Bay.

I have a new baby sister!! Marah is delighted (and relieved) to announce the birth of her new baby sister, Andree Marie, who was born on November 16th, 2000 at 5:30 pm., weighing 8 lbs. 1 oz. Andree is the daughter of Moya Cahill and Paul Gaudet, and the granddaughter of Gerald and Nora Cahill of St. John's, as well as Gerald and Imelda Gaudet of Moncton, NB. Moya and Paul wish to express their gratitude to all the nurses and physicians at the HSC who were there to assist Andree in her safe journey into this world.

Chapman / Merry
Kim and Matthew are proud to announce the safe arrival of their darling son, Logan Thomas, born at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia, Wednesday, November 15th, 2000 at 5:53 pm., weighing 7 lbs. 12 ½ ozs and measuring 21 ½ inches. Proud grandparents Shirley and Robert Merry, Lowville, New York and first time grandma Joan (Lester) Chapman. Watching over from heaven is granddad Bert (Herbert) Chapman. Bruce and Elaine (nee Dyke) are thrilled to announce the birth of their son Alexander Bruce. Born at North York General Hospital in Toronto on November 10th, 2000 at 11:31 am., weighing 8 lbs. 15 ozs. Proud grandparents are Catherine Dyke, Lorraine Chaulk and Ken and Barb and great-grandmothers Nellie Butt and Margaret Hollett. Special kisses are sent from heaven from Grampie (Austin Hiscock) and Poppy (Calvin Chaulk). Cole
Cory and Cheryl are excited to announce the safe arrival of their first child, a baby boy, Benjamin Malcolm. He arrived November 18th, 2000 at 11:42 am., weighing 7 lbs. 6 ozs. Proud grandparents are Ernistine Poole and Marie Hoben (Tony). A special thank you to all staff at the caseroom and to Dr. F.N. Kum. Daddy and Benjamin would also like to send a special thank you to Mommy for all her love before, during and since delivery.

Coleman / Whitty
Born to Michelle Coleman and Roger Whitty, at the Health Sciences, November 30th, 2000, a beautiful baby boy, Dominic Michael Whitty. Proud grandparents Mike and Irene Coleman, Mike and Mary Whitty.

Davies / Murphy
Bruce and Christine of Sarnia, Ontario are delighted to announce the birth of their son, Andrew Michael Murphy Davies, weighing 8 lbs. 5 ozs., on November 13th, 2000. Daddy's little hockey buddy has finally arrived!!! Stephen James Foley, born to Valerie, Jim and big sister Samantha on November 1st, 2000, weighing 7 lbs. 3 ozs. Proud grandparents are Alf and Judy Cranford, Jim and Jeanette Foley, great-grandparents Fred and Philomena Sexton, Kathleen Bishop, John and Gertrude Holden, and Eileen Foley. Fowler / Whittle
We have a new Brother! Mitchell and Kyle are so excited to announce Noah Alexander's arrival into their family, November 23rd, 2000 at 0034. Noah weighed 5 lbs. 13.8 ozs. His parents Tim and Tena (Whittle) are thrilled with such a healthy baby. Noah is lovingly welcomed by many family and friends including his very proud grandparents Harold and Joan Whittle and Theresa Fowler and Poppy Fowler in heaven. Much thanks to nurse Lisa and Dr. Strand in the caseroom, as well as 5th floor nurses and doctors at HSC. Our family is blessed once again.

Fry / Rockwood
Jeff and Tracy (Rockwood) are proud to announce the early, but safe, arrival of their first child, a daughter. Caroline Dawn Tina was born on November 29th, 2000 at 11:25 am at the Health Science Centre, weighing 5 lbs. 13 ozs. First grandchild for Art and Ruth Rockwood, second for Linda and the late Donald Fry. Second great-grandchild for both Audrey Rockwood and Queenie Prince. Also welcoming Caroline are Aunt Sandra, Uncle Rob and Cousin Rebecca Ford, aunt Susan and Uncle Serge Gallant, and Uncle David Rockwood. Mommy and Daddy would like to thank Dr. Crane and her team, and the caseroom staff, especially nurse Karen Street and nursing student Jillian Parsons. Thanks also to the staff of 5NB, particularly nurses Eleanor, Kimberley and Angela for their care and support of mother and baby. Special thanks to Dr. Seviour for excellent prenatal care. Since Caroline's arrival, Scully's tail hasn't stopped wagging!

Judy and Christopher are thrilled to announce the birth of their third son, David Patrick, on November 21st, 2000, a little brother for Christopher and Stephen. David weighed in at 8 lbs. 6 ozs.. Gulliver / Steele
Big brothers Parker and Jaxson proudly welcome another boy to the clan, Raygan Douglas, born on November 20th 2000 at the Health Sciences Center, weighing 8 lbs. 6 ¼ ozs., to parents Sean and Karen (Steele). Proud grandparents are Harry and Margaret Gulliver and Doug and Bernice Steele. Raygan, Uncle Douglas is watching over you from heaven above.

Grant / Martin
Jamie and Danette (nee Martin) are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ryan James who was born November 1st, 2000, weighing 8 lbs. 5 ozs. Ryan is warmly welcomed by his grandparents and 4 great-grandmothers. Thanks to Dr. Watson and Dr. Kravitz for their prenatal care, Dr. Bennett and the team of doctors and nurses who helped in Ryan's safe arrival, as well as the caseroom nurses and staff of 5NB for their attentive care during our stay.

Hartery / Boland
Alfred, Helena and big sister Jillian are pleased to announce the arrival of Madison Sydney, born November 1st, 2000, weighing 8 lbs. 7 ozs. Proud grandparents are Tom and Nora Hartery of Portugal Cove South, and Harold Boland of Calvert. Little kiss sent to my guardian angel above, Nanny Boland. Special thank you to all the staff at the caseroom, coach and friend Leona Walsh for her support and just being there, and Dr. Heidi Kravitz. She's finally here! It is with great pleasure and delight that Arild and Jeanette announce the early, but safe, arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Sophia Eva Olaung, on November 20th, 2000 at 23:45 pm., weighing 5 lbs. 9 ozs. Also delighted with Sophia's arrival are grandparents Harold and Eva Piercey of Monkstown, Arne Helgeland of Corner Brook and Olaug Helgeland of Norway. Special thanks to Dr. Gill and his team, staff of NICU and the entire nursing staff of 5NB for all their encouragement and support over the past nine weeks. Mommy and Sophia would also like to thank Daddy for all his love and support during this very difficult pregnancy.

Stephanie (Matthews) and Carl are delighted to announce the birth of Luke Michael, a little buddy for Daria. He arrived on November 26th, 2000, weighing 6 lbs. 14 ozs. Luke was welcomed by a number of grandparents; Grandma Elizabeth, Poppy Orv and Nanny Sandra, Poppy Pete and Nanny Pat, Nanny Rosie and Poppy Rupert. Also a special thanks to Daddy, Auntie Katie, Rosie and nurse Maher.

Lake / Yetman
Barry and Tina are pleased to announce the safe arrival of their first child Nicholas Matthew, born November 18th, 2000 in Red Deer, Alberta. First grandchild for Des and Bernadette Yetman, St. Mary's and sixth grandchild for Howard and Patricia Lake, St. Lawrence and twenty-second great-grandchild for Isabelle Kielly, St. Mary's. Yippee, mommy has a shopping partner! Annie Claire, an 8 lb. 2 ozs., pre-Christmas Gift from God, was born on November 29th, 2000 at 7:46 pm at the General Hospital in St. John's. Mom (Karen) and Dad (Hugo) are pleased to have a playmate for big brother, 23 month old Matthew James. Now, if only Matthew would stop riding dinkies on her head! Annie Claire is proud to take her Nanny McCarthy's name, but isn't sure if she can measure up to the compassion and love her Nanny showed everyone she knew while she was with us. A big thank you to Nanny Power, Daddy(who almost missed the birth!), Godmommy Aunt Genny (and the epidural!) for their help during the delivery; thank you also to Aunt Bernie for caring for Matthew.

McDonald / Tremblett

Cassie was born at the Health Sciences on Sunday, November 5th, 2000, at 12:36 pm., weighing 7 lbs. 7 ½ ozs. The newest addition to the O'Brien crew arrived November 14th, 2000, weighing 7 lbs. 11 ozs. Loyola, Patricia and brother Noah are beaming over their beautiful little girl, Kathleen Marjorie. Delighted grandparents are Thomas and Barbara Dooley and guardian angels Marjorie and Joseph O'Brien. Thanks to Dr. Gill, Dr. Bartellas, Evelyn and caseroom staff. Once again, Dr. Kravitz's wonderful care throughout the pregnancy was greatly appreciated.

O'Brien / Kavanagh
Neil and Cheryl are delighted to announce the arrival of their first child together, Liam Alphonsus John, a happy, healthy, bouncing baby boy, weighing 6 lbs. 8 ozs., born on Thursday, November 16th, 2000 at the Health Sciences Center in St. John's. A special welcome comes from siblings Allison, Joshua and Luke and grandparents Alphonsus and Agnes Kavanagh of Ferryland, grandparents John and Elsie O'Brien watch over Liam from heaven. Nicola (Cardoulis) and Keith Radford were blessed with the birth of a precious, healthy, baby girl-Sophia Cardoulis Radford, 7 lbs. 12 ozs., on November 15th, 2000 at the HSC. Sophia has captured many hearts especially first time grandparents Peter and Gail Cardoulis and Bill and Beverley Radford. Sophia is also the first niece of Allison (Cardoulis) and Mark Abbott and Virginia Radford. Heartfelt thanks for excellent prenatal and postnatal care given by Dr. Kelly Bennett and the staff of the fetal assessment unit, as well as Drs. Picco, Kamara and Mossman. Thanks to nurses Darlene Flemming of the case room and Judi Edwards of 5NB. Our special thanks to all those who showed their support, and whose prayers were answered.

A princess was born! Leo and Tanya (nee Penney) are pleased to announce the safe arrival of their precious little daughter, Natalie Edith Gail, on November 23rd, 2000. Kate Laurie Sullivan
was born at 8:30 pm at the Health Sciences Complex on Tuesday November 14th, 2000, just missing her daddy's birthday by one day, weighing 8 lbs. 7 ozs., to proud parents Troy and Lois (Loveridge) Sullivan. Big sister Meghan hasn't stopped kissing and hugging her “baby sisser” since she arrived. Kate has lots of loving relatives to count on for babysitting duties, including her two grandmothers, Nana Winnie Sullivan in Bay Roberts and Nanny Joyce Loveridge in Corner Brook, as well as her cousin Stephanie (Darby) Coombs who is expecting her own bundle of joy in August and needs plenty of practice! Many thanks to the caseroom staff who assisted in the birth of our beautiful daughter.

Tucker / Williams

Amanda Julie, a first child for Judy (nee Milley) and Daniel Tuttle, born at the HSC, St. John's, Newfoundland on November 12th, 2000, at 4:32 pm., weighing 6 lbs. 8 ozs. The first granddaughter for Julie and Alton Milley of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and the fourth granddaughter for Denise and Wayne Tuttle of Goose Bay, Labrador.

Walsh / Walsh
Martin and Beverly (nee Walsh) are overjoyed to announce the safe and much anticipated arrival of their beautiful little girl, Cassandra. She arrived on November 10th, 2000 at 2:31 pm., weighing 8 lbs. 5 ozs. Proud grandparents are George and Ellen Conway. Cassandra is also welcomed by a large circle of relatives and friends, and two furry 4 legged friends, Prince and Keesha. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Pike for her prenatal care, and also to Dr. Downton and Dr. Sharpe for assisting Dr. Pike with her excellent care during delivery. Many thanks to all the caseroom personnel, and to the nurses of 5NB. A special thank you to Aunt Melinda for all her love and for being there with Mommy during my arrival. A little kiss sent to guardian angels above, Nanny and Poppy Walsh, who we know send their love.

Williams / Crummell
Frank and Janet (nee Crummell) are pleased to announce the safe arrival of Samuel Alexander on Sunday, November 5th, 2000 at 7:14 am., weighing 7 lbs. 14 ozs. Proud grandparents are Jean and Frank Williams, Helen and Eric Crummell. Special thanks to Dr. Patrick O'Shea, Dr. Lisa Kieley and Dr. Gill. Also thanks to the caseroom staff and Obstetrics Unit.

Woodruff
Lisa, Paul, Marc and Lauren happily announce the birth of Andrew Daniel William on November 16th, 2000, weighing 9 lbs. 2 ozs. A special thanks to Dr. Roche and caseroom nurse Joan Dalton for the great care of Mom and baby.
