ANTLE - Wayne, Jillian (Hollett) and big sister Maria are thrilled to announce the November 25, 2008 arrival of Rowan Wayne Stephen, weighing 9 lbs. 9 ozs. Celebrating with us are grandparents Guy and Julie Hollett, Wayne Antle and Judy Antle, great-grandmothers Ada Hollett and Mae Whelan, and Aunties Linsey, Nadine and Denise. Thanks to Dr. Jackie Elliott and Dr. Colleen Cook for their excellent care. We know Cousin Stephen will watch over our little angel from above.

ANTLE (MAYO) - On November 28/08 with gratitude and love Deanne, Scott and Big Sister Ava welcomed our precious baby girl Reece Ella into our family. Also overjoyed with our sweet girls' arrival are grandparents Joan and Bill Mayo of Marystown and Nora and Austin Antle of Fox Cove, great grandmothers Mayo and Antle, Uncle Sheldon (Leigh), Aunties Dana (Greg), Dawn, Cousins Jacob and Lauren, godparents Steve and Maria and our extended families. We send a heartfelt thank you to those who gave us such exceptional care, especially Daddy. We are thrilled to have two beautiful girls.

COADY/DELAHUNTY - Jamie and Joanne are thrilled to announce the arrival of their son Leo Padraic Coady on November 18, 2008. Welcoming Leo are grandparents James and Patricia Coady of Outer Cove, Brian and Shirley Delahunty of Harbour Grace and great-grandparents Patrick and Mildred Barry of Carbonear. Joining them are aunts and uncles Denise, Paul, John, Deanne, Greg, Michelle, Steve and Christine as well cousins Sarah, John, Ellie, Clare and Andrew. Special thanks are extended to Women's Health Center staff, in particular nurses Karen Fanning, Sherry Parsons, Joan Dalton and Robyn Beaudry and Dr. J. Elliott, Dr. Cook, Dr. A. Gill and Dr. J. Salata.

DOOLEY - May all the stars dance and twirl for God has blessed us with a baby girl. Glen and Leah are overjoyed to announce the long awaited arrival of their beautiful daughter, Rachel Renee, born November 13, 2008 weighing 7 lbs. 15 oz. Waiting her arrival were very excited first-time grandparents Brian and Clara Whalen and third times a charm for Joe and Rita Dooley. As well as Aunts Amanda and Cathy, Uncle Scott and two very special cousins Stephen and Maggie. Rachel is also blessed to have two great-grandmothers, Alice Martin and Catherine Whalen. Many people played a role in our journey to parenthood. Most importantly, our family and friends for all your love, support and prayers; Dr. O'Grady, the staff at the WHC and the doctors and staff at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. We are forever grateful for the work you do; we cannot thank you enough for our miracle and the care you gave us. Also, a big thanks to Dr. Robert Kennedy, case room nurses Lisa and Connie and the staff on 5NB. Mommy and Rachel also want to say thanks to Daddy for all his love and support! Xoxox

DUMONT/HISCOCK - Chester Dumont and Lori Angela Hiscock welcome their first child, Lucas Roland, at the Queensway Carlton Hospital in Ottawa, ON, on November 29, 2008, weighing 10 lbs. 5 ozs. First-time grandparents Fred and Rosalynd Hiscock of St. John's are overjoyed as well as Hulda and Roland Dumont of Sudbury, ON. Another great grandchild for Verna Peach. What a wonderful pre-Xmas gift!

FACEY/MADDEN - On Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 9:12 a.m., Rachel Facey and John Madden welcomed into their lives, Lewis Christopher Jack Madden, weighing in at a respectable 7 lbs. 11.7 ozs. Ecstatic first time grandparents Christopher and Shirley Facey and third time grandparents Jack and Christine Madden are overjoyed with Lewis' arrival. Proud great-grandmother Doreen Facey, as well as great-grandparents John and Verlie King think Lewis is a perfect addition to their families. Mommy Daddy and Lewis truly want to thank the fabulous nurses and doctors of the case room at the HSC for their tremendous understanding, encouragement and care. An extra special thanks to Krista, Megan, Janine and Tracey, you gals are a true credit to the nursing profession.

GUNN/LAWLOR - Just in time for Christmas! With great love & joy Linda Gunn & Doreen Cassell announce the arrival of their grandson Keegan Alexander Gunn on 24 November 2008 at 5:38 AM weighing 7 lbs. 14 ozs. His delighted parents are Davidson Gunn & Amanda Lawlor. Keegan is also welcomed by Uncles Daniel, John, Ian & pets Bear & Tye. Keegan has 2 Guardian Angels - his Great-Grandparents Ian & Pauline Gunn with whom he shares his birthday. Many thanks to Dr. Bob Miller.  Welcome little one - we've been waiting for you.

KIRKLAND - DOUBLE THE PLEASURE, DOUBLE THE LOVE! Mike and Allison (Dawe) are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of their baby boys, Aiden Michael and Daniel Geoffrey on November 14th, 2008 weighing 4 lbs. 7 oz. and 4 lbs. 14 oz. respectively. Excited to welcome the boys are first time grandparents Geoff and Donna Dawe and Jerry and Edwina Kirkland. Anxiously waiting to meet them are Auntie Angela and Uncle Trevor in Alberta. Celebrating with them are Aunt Pam and Uncle John, Aunt Erin as well as two great-grandmothers, Evelyn Dawe and Josephine Kirkland. Heartfelt thank you to Dr. Terry O'Grady, the staff at the WHC and the Foothills RFP in Calgary for making our dreams come true. Also, thank you to Dr. Robert Kennedy, nurses Denise and Heather for the safe delivery of Aiden and Daniel as well as all the nurses in the NICU for your special care. We are eternally grateful to all our family, friends and neighbours for all your continued love, support and encouragement. We are truly blessed.

MACKEY - Leonard and Lisa (nee Power) are thrilled to announce the early arrival (5 weeks early) of their son Connor William on November 1, 2008, weighing 5 lbs. 13 ozs. and measuring 19 inches. Proud grandparents are John and Carmel Power and Leonard and Marie Mackey. A very special thank you to Dr. Kravitz for prenatal care and the speedy delivery. You have a very kind heart and your reassuring words meant a lot. Thank you to Dr. Crane and the girls in the Maternal Fetal Assessment Unit and to Denise from the NICU for the beautiful pictures. Big brother Benjamin is very proud of his new little brother and he would really like to thank Nanny and Poppy Power for taking such good care of him while Connor made his big entrance.
We now have two beautiful and perfect little boys!

MACPHERSON - are proud to announce the birth of their son, Luke Thomas MacPherson. Born November 5, 2008 at 1:25 p.m. - just in time for the lunch buffet! Luke is welcomed and adored by first time grandmother Nana Joan Doiron (Mount Pearl) and Granda John MacPherson (Highlands), as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles and cousins. Guardian Angels, Grandma Mary MacPherson and Poppy Lorne Doiron are watching over Luke. For their care, support and professionalism, special thanks are extended to Doctors Kum, Murphy, House and the incredible staff of the Women's Health Centre. We are very grateful to our families and friends for their continued love and support. Luke is a precious little miracle in our lives!

MULLALY - It's a BOY! Derek, Cara (Lidstone) and big brother Ethan are proud to announce the birth of their son and baby brother, Brayden Derek. Born on November 6, 2008 at 11:34am, weighing 7 lbs. 3 ozs. Celebrating with them are a very proud grandmother Christina Lidstone (Botwood), grandparents Art and Ursula Mullaly (Gander) and also think of and remembering Poppy Morris Lidstone. A big thank you to Dr. Cook, Dr. Drover, and all the Janeway nursing staff for providing such wonderful care. We especially would like to thank all our family and friends for their love welcoming Brayden and their extra attention to Ethan at such an exciting time.

NOSEWORTHY - FRESH FISH: Ethan Bradley made a splashing entrance into the arms of Brad and Jennifer (Barbour) on November 25th, 2008, weighing 7lbs 4 oz. Welcoming this 4th generation small fry to the world of fish and chips are grandparents Bob & Al Barbour, Maureen & Fred Lynk, and Don Noseworthy. Also waiting to spoil him are three special great-grandmothers, aunts, uncles and a large circle of family and friends. Jennifer and Brad would like to say a very special thank you to both Dr's Cook and Murphy as well as Nurse Denise for Ethan's safe arrival. A special thank you to the poppy angels in heaven who watched over him, and made him the perfect little boy we all love so much.

POWERS - Jamie, Colleen (Russell) and big sister Molly Jane are pleased to announce the arrival of Bridget Jamie on November 15, 2008, weighing 8 lbs. 4.5 ozs. Welcoming Bridget are Nanny and Poppy Russell, Nana and Popo Roger, cousins Emma, Caitlin, Kyle and Evan and Great Nan Hayward and Great Nan Pip. Thank you to Daddy, Aunt Kelly and Dr. Erica Fowler for their care and support.

ROLLS/COURCHAINE - Duane Rolls and Julie Courchaine along with furry four legged big brother, Newman, are excited to announce the safe arrival of their first child.  Madeline Jill Rolls was born Friday, November 7, 2008 at Montfort Hospital in Ottawa weighing 8 lbs 2 ozs. Proud first time grandparents, Jack and Carol Rolls of St. John's and Jill and Louis Courchaine of Winnipeg. Also aunts Diane Rolls, Sabrina Courchaine and Uncle Jordan Courchaine.

RYAN - Steve, Nicole and "big brother" Carson are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful daughter and sister "Claire Imelda", born at the WHC on November 28, 2008 at 9:47 a.m., weighing 8 lbs 4 ozs. Welcoming Claire are proud grandparents Ed and Hilda Yetman, Trepassey and Willie and Ann Ryan, St. Mary's. Thanks to Drs. Mabel Greene and Heidi Kravitz and her team, case room nurses Lisa and Sheila and the nursing staff of 5NB.

RYAN - Todd and Doreen (nee Hawkins) are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of their second child, a beautiful son, Lucas Garrett, born on November 6, 2008, weighing 8 lbs. 13¼ ozs. Welcoming Lucas to the family are big sister Erica; grandparents: Don and Judy Ryan, St. John's and Beatrice Hawkins, Admiral's Cove; also great-grandmother, Kathleen Ryan, St. John's. Special thanks to Dr. Crane and Dr. Strand for their prenatal care and delivery, to Sue and Pat in the Fetal Assessment Unit, to all the nurses in the case room and at 5NB Women's Health Center.

TILLEY/NAPIER - Jessica, Devin, and big sister Aurora are thrilled to announce the arrival of Lucas Michael on November 20, 2008, weighing 9 lbs, 3 oz. Lucas is welcomed by proud grandparents Sharon and Wayne Hillier of St. John's, and  Adrienne Thomas and Michael Napier of Dartmouth, N.S. Also welcoming Lucas are aunts Nikki and Meghan, uncles Richard, Robert, and Drew, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the HSC.

VARDY - Dale and Erin (O'Brien) are thrilled to announce the arrival of their precious baby girl. Laura Grace was born at the Health Sciences Centre on November 21, 2008, weighing 6 lbs, 12.9 oz. Laura is welcomed by delighted grandparents Dennis and Amy Vardy of Clarenville and Carmelita O'Brien of St. John's. Watching over Laura from heaven is her guardian angel, Poppy Ron O'Brien. Also welcoming Laura are great-grandparents Julia Verge and Arthur and Doris Vardy, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

VINCENT - Chris and Lorie (nee Ezekiel) are thrilled to announce the arrival of their precious baby girl, Abigail Elizabeth Lydia on November 10, 2008, weighing 8 lbs. 2 ozs. Tickled pink are proud first time grandparents Linda and Neil Ezekiel (Goulds) and third time grandparents Ida and Lewis Vincent (St. John's). Special thanks to our family and friends for all their support during Abigail's arrival.

WARREN/STACK - Andrew and Kim are thrilled to announce the birth of their precious baby girl, Brooklyn Kimberley, born at the Health Sciences Center on November 22, 2008, at 8:29 p.m., weighing 7 lbs. 9 ozs. Brooklyn is welcomed by her big brother Steven, grandparents Philip and Donna Stack, Cecil Warren and her guardian angel Nanny Freda watching over her from heaven. Special thanks to Dr. Johanne Lacelle for her pre-natal care and safe delivery. Mommy and Brooklyn would also like to thank Daddy, special friend Lori, and Aunt Sandra for all their support during delivery, as well as Nanny Stack for helping us when we arrived home from hospital.
