Jason and Amber are proud to announce the early arrival of a beautiful baby girl, Lydia Amber Georgie, born on November 4, 1999, weighing 6 lbs. 6½ ozs.  Lydia is the first grandchild of Tom and Georgie Kingston (Clarenville) and George and Gloria Powell (Salmon Cove).  First time proud uncles are Grant Kingston and Adam Coish.  Baby Lydia would like to extend a very special thanks to those Dr.'s and nurses at the Grace Hospital who took such great care of Mommy and me since August and who ensured my safe arrival, especially Dr. Kelly Bennett, Dr. Chandra and Dr. Steve Will and the nurses on the second floor Fetal Assessment Unit, and especially caseroom nurse Karen.  Mommy and Daddy say thanks to Nanny Georgie for all her support and also to good friend Amanda Heale.

I was so excited to meet everybody I showed up early!  I'm Zoe Samantha Collins, and I was born at 10:53 a.m. on November 2, 1999, weighing 6 lbs. 13 oz.. I'm the first grandchild for Joan Moores and the fifth for Mary Collins, and my grandfather's Henley Moores and Nish Collins are Guardian Angels that watch over me from heaven.  My proud parents are Ron and Jacqui (Moores), and they told me we couldn't have done it without the fabulous and patience staff at the Grace Hospital (especially the caseroom nurses!), as well as Malcolm Simpson, Dr. Pike and Dr. Will.  Mommy says a special thanks to Daddy for his love and support.**

Connolly / Eddy

Darren and Mary Lou (Manning) are thrilled to announce the early arrival of their precious little girl. Brooklyn Taylor arrived eight weeks early on November 16, 1999 weighing 4 pounds, four ounces. Daddy and Mommy got the best Christmas present when their little girl was released from the Grace Neo-Natal Unit, on December 21. Proud first-time grandparents, Patrick and Elizabeth Manning (Torbay), and the seventh grandchild for Marg Devereaux (Logy Bay). Her Poppy Devereaux is looking down on her from heaven. Howlett / Mayo
Dave and Judy Anne (Mayo) are blessed with an early Christmas present on November 29, 1999, the birth of their first child.  She's beautiful, she's special, she's their darling little angel, Taylor Catherine.  Anxious to be with Mommy and Daddy for Christmas and wanting Santa to visit her house, Taylor arrived almost 5 weeks early and still weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz..  Taylor is the first grandchild for Kay and Frank Mayo and the 19th grandchild for Helen and Ed Howlett.  Taylor is welcomed with joy by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Special thanks to Dr. Pike, Dr. Pugh, Dr. Hutton, case room staff, neo-natal staff, and staff of the 2nd floor, Grace Hospital.  Mommy would also like to thank Daddy and Ros for assisting with Taylor's arrival, especially Daddy for his love and support through it all.  Watching over Taylor from heaven is her very own special Guardian Angel, her great grand nanny, Isabel Layman.

Snow / Taylor
Robert and Darleen (Taylor) are proud to announce the safe arrival of Sarah Joan, a little sister for John. Sarah was born November 13, 1999 at 3:46 a.m., weighing 7 pounds 15¾ ounces and 52 cm. long.  Sarah is the first granddaughter of Robert and Joan Snow and the second for Sam and Joan Taylor. Sarah is also the first great-granddaughter of Sarah Mooney, her namesake.  Special thanks to Dr. Sarah Healey and nurses Joanne Delahunty, Bev.
