Meghan Jennifer arrived at 10:50 am on Friday, October 5, 2001 at the Women's Health Centre, weighing 8 lbs, 6 ozs.. Sister Courtney and brother Alexander welcome Neil. Elizabeth, Todd and big sister Lauren are thrilled to welcome Samuel Jack Clift Taylor (Jack Taylor)- our precious baby boy and final member of our golf foursome. Jack was born on Thursday, October 25, 2001, and weighed 7 lbs. 4 ozs. Proud grandparents are Frank and Joan Clift and Pat and Carol Densmore. Garry and Darlene (Oake) are overjoyed to announce the safe arrival of their beautiful first child, a precious little girl, Samantha Emily, born on October 6, 2001, weighing 8 lbs. 1 oz., at 9:55 am., at the HSC. Gerry and Lisa are proud to announce the birth of their third son, Conor Thomas James, born October 28, 2001, weighing 7 lbs. 4 ozs. Samuel and Devon are thrilled with their new brother. DAWSON
Joan is proud to announce the arrival of the daughter Lilli, who was born Oct. 28, 2001 in Jiangxi Province, China, adopted Nov. 18, 2002 in China and arrived in Newfoundland on Nov. 29, 2002. Very happily welcomed by her big sister Jinji. Thanks to all for their help along the way, particularly fellow travellers, Eleanor Dawson, Brendan Walsh and Linda Ryan. Biggest thanks of all to the Keenan family - Agnes, Harry, Una, Mary Anne and John Paul for the care and love of Jinji while mommy was in China. Merry Christmas.

Dom and Pat Dicks are thrilled to announce the arrival of their first grandchild, Joshua Dominic Deibert, born to Kathy and Brent on October 30th, 2001 in Langley, BC. Peter and Barbara thank God for the early, but safe, arrival OF their little miracle, a son, Joseph Peter, born at the Women's Health Centre on October 11, 2001, at 6:49 am, weighing 6 lbs. 1 oz.. Welcomed with much love and excitement are his big sister Jesssica, and two brothers, Justin and Christopher, and their dog Lady. We would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses on the 3rd and 5th floors who assisted us in the birth and care of our precious baby boy. Especially Dr. Kravitz, Pike, Pridham and Mossman for your complete professionalism and care, thank you for keeping our spirits up with your constant encouragement and great sense of humour! Big brother Zachary and parents - Patrick and Lisa (Tobin) are proud to announce the arrival of Luke Nicholas, born October 17, 2001, at 0332, weighing 7 lbs. 10 ozs. Thanks to staff at HSC, especially Dr. Kravitz, Dr. Tennent, Sue Harding, RN and all of Mom's friends on 5SA Cardiology who came to visit. Grandparents Elizabeth and James Tobin and Anne Tucker and families welcome Luke with love.

Wells / Murphy
Announcing the new leadoff bowler for the Wells' team. Sean and Janet (nee Murphy) are thrilled to welcome the birth of their first child, a beautiful girl! Katie Lynn arrived at 6:07 pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2001, at the Women's Health Centre, weighing 6 lbs. 14½ ozs. Welcomed with love by fifth time grandmother Bernadette Murphy and first time grandparents Art and Elaine Wells. Also, first great-grandchild of Pat and Nell Atkins and second great-grandchild of Elsie Wells. Looking down from heaven is grandfather Harold Murphy and great-grandfather Otto Wells. Especially thrilled with Katie's arrival are cousins Timothy and Vanessa O'Leary and Kayla and Nicholas Murphy. A very special thank you to Dr. Pat Roche and Jackie for the excellent prenatal care received. Special thanks to the caseroom nurses especially Lisa Patten and to Doctors Crane, Parsons and clinical clerk Vicki Martin; to the nursing staff of 5NB and student nurse Lynette. Mommy and Katie would like to thank Daddy and Mommy's sisters Jennifer, Jo-Ann and Karen for their support and help throughout the labour. Special thanks to all our family and friends for their love and support.

Whiteway / Penney
Born October 6, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre to Shawn and Dana (Penney), a precious angel Mackenzie Grace. She's a little sister for Sydney to love and share her wisdom that is far beyond her ten years. Proud grandparents Eric and Inez Penney, Moreton's Harbour, Ellie Whiteway, Corner Brook and great-grandfather James Whiteway, Corner Brook. We waited long for our baby girl but her wide eyed beauty was no surpurse. Amazing Grace and and joy entered all our lives, when 7 lbs. 1 oz. Mackenzie Grace arrived. Guardian angels watching over her are great-grandparents Cyril and Edna White, Edward and Pearl Penney and Muriel Whiteway whose favourite hymn Amazing Grace determined her name. Many thanks to daddy for his supporting hands as I came into the world and to Natalie for all her help to both Mommy and Daddy. Thank you to all the nurses, especially Charlene and Dr. Gill for bringing me safely into this world. Special thanks to Dr. Grandy, Dr. Kum and Betty for all my prenatal care.

Wood / Maddigan
Jackie and Robert are proud to announce the arrival of their son, Riley Maddigan Wood in Calgary at the Rockyview General Hospital. Riley joined our family at 11:02 pm on October 1st, 2001, weighing in at 7 lbs. 4 ozs. Thanks to everyone in Newfoundland and Calgary for their support.

Judy Day of St. John's proudly announces the birth of her first grandchild, a boy, Liam Fraser Clarence Workman. Born to Timothy and Karen on October 15, 2001, weighing 9 lbs. 2 ozs., in Frederickton, New Brunswick.
