delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, Bridget Emily
McLean, at 11:39 p.m. on October 7, 2003, weighing
8 pounds. Bridget is welcomed by her enthusiastic grandparents, Allen and
Elaine Steeves of St. John`s, NL and Stan and Marjorie McLean of Big Pond,
NS. Paul and Victoria wish to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Paul`s
Hospital in Vancouver for their excellent care SUMMERS - Christopher and Kimberley (nee Barrett) are thrilled
to welcome home their son, Alexander Yuriy Summers, born on January
10, 2003, in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Adoption date October 14,
2003. Grandparents are Boyd and Elaine Summers of Kelligrews and Gerald
and Dot Barrett of Foxtrap. Great-grandparents are Ted Barrett of Bell Island
and Agnes Summers of St. John's. Family dog Tazz has been anxiously waiting
to play with Alexander's toys. We are grateful for the support of our family
and friends, the flexibility extended to us by our employers and the assistance

care and delivery as well as all the nurses and doctors in the caseroom and
on 5NB at the Women`s Health Center. A special thank you to our families

boy! Rob and Denise (Higdon) are thrilled to welcome Evan Robert,
born October 10, 2003 at 7:31 p.m., weighing 8 lbs. 6 oz.

Madison, on Friday, October 24/03 at 4:13 p.m. at
the WHC weighing 10 lbs. 3¾ ozs. Proud grandparents are Rosemary Williams
of Goulds and Vincent and Mary Manning of Torbay. Watching over Brooklyn from
heaven is her own special angel, Poppy Eric Williams. We would like to extend
our gratitude to Dr. Heidi Kravitz for her exceptional prenatal care, along

the birth of her first child, Eric Walter. Eric arrived on October
6, 2003 at 10:34 A.M. and weighed in at 10 pounds ¼ ounce.
Proud relatives include: Audrey and Walter Wirtzfeld of Calgary, Alberta (grandparents)
and Uncle Michael currently of London, Ontario. Special thanks to the staff
