BRUCE R. PINSENT
April 2, 1948- March 25, 2001

"We Are The Hero of Our Own Story"
The Family of the late Bruce Pinsent wish to express their heartfelt thanks and sincerest appreciation to all who offered comfort and support in the passing of a dear brother, uncle and friend. The numerous sympathy cards, flower arrangements and telephone calls from near and far were indeed heartening in our time of sorrow. We gratefully acknowledge donations made in Bruce's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Salvation Army. Our deepest thanks go the family members and friends who attended Bruce's Memorial Service held in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Our appreciation to Dot Richardson, lay reader for the Anglican Church in Dartmouth, N.S. for her eloquent service. A special thanks goes to Ashley Pinsent, Bruce's only daughter and Best Friend who delivered a most beautiful tribute to Bruce, called "Reflections". Special thanks as well to Christine Pinsent-Johnson and Joyce Elliott for the readings from the Bible. A most gracious thank-you from all to Marilyn Pinsent who had the mammoth undertaking of trying to make contact with and notify family members from other parts of the world to deliver such heart breaking news. Last but certainly not least our sincerest thanks to Dr. Eric Stone, St. John's, NF. and Dr. John Kielty, Deer Lake, NF, who gave Bruce splendid medical care while he resided in Newfoundland. Through this medical attention given by Dr. Stone and Dr. Kielty, combined by Bruce's strong will to live, we had Bruce with us for five years longer. It was because of you both that his last years, in his own words were, "quality years".
SADLY MISSED AND FOREVER LOVED BY;SISTER, ELAINE(CHERIE)PINSENT-VERBISKI; BROTHER -IN-LAW, MORT; BARRY AND KAREN; CHRIS AND DORIS.
