The Telegram Memoriams
December 2001

Humphries
In loving memory of a Dear Wife, Mother, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
Merida C. Humphries who passed away December 2, 2001.
Wife one year ago I had to part, With one I loved with all my heart, The wound was deep, it will not heal, Only those who lost know how I feel. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear. A sadness still comes over us, Tears in silence often flow, Memory keeps you ever near us, Though you died one year ago. You walk with us down quiet paths, And speak in wind and rain, For the magic power of memory, Gives you back to us again. Although you can't be here with us, We're truly not apart, Until the final breath we take, You'll be livng in our hearts. Your smile has gone forever. And your hand we cannot touch, We have so many memories of you. Our mother, we loved so much. If we could have one lifetime wish, One dream that would come true, We'd pray to God with all our hearts, For yesterday and you. Lovingly remembered by her husband Hiram; her five daughters; one son and their families.
