EDWARDS Precious memories of a dear Husband, Father, Father-in-law and Poppy James J. (Jim) Edwards who passed away December 24, 1994 age 55 years Don`t grieve for me, for now I`m free. I`m following the path God laid you see. I took His hand when I heard His call. I turned my back and left it all. I couldn't stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy, A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow, My life was full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one`s touch. Perhaps our time seemed all too brief, Don`t lengthen now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share my glee. God wanted me now; He set me free. Though tears in my eyes do not glisten, And my face is not always sad, There is never a night or morning, But I think of the husband I had. Not a day do we forget you In our hearts you are always here, For we love you and we miss you, With every passing year. Dad: What we would give if we could say, Hello, Dad, in the same old way; To hear your voice, see your smile, To sit with you and chat awhile. Not a day do we forget you, In our hearts you are always here, For we love you and we miss you, With every passing year. So you who have your parents, Cherish them with care, For you'll never know the heartache, Til they're no longer there. Poppy: If roses grow in heaven dear Lord, Please pick a bunch for us, Place them in our Poppy's arms And tell him they're from us. Forever loved and so sadly missed, loving wife Joan; son Robert, daughter-in-law Carol Anne; daughters: Denise, son-in-law Trevor, Karen, son-in-law Leonard, Jackie, son-in-law Kenneth; grandchildren: Jamie, David, Andrew, Colin, Michael, Kathryn, Devin and Grace. - December 29, 2003

On this the first anniversary of Travis' sudden and tragic death, we along with his extended family, HMCS Chippawa, will be having a memorial service on December 30 at 7:00 p.m. at HMCS Chippawa - 1 Navy Way, Winnipeg in the chapel on the main floor. The service is open to all. Padre Glen Krentz will be officiating and will encourage people to share stories of interest about Travis' life. Refreshments will be served following the service. TO THE ONES I LOVED SO DEAR You needn't tie yourselves to me with tears, be happy that we had those years. I gave to you my love you can only guess, how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you have shown, but now it's time I traveled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away for life goes on, so if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near, and if you listen with your heart you will hear all of my love around you soft and clear. And then when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome Home". KING A Tribute Harvey King December 9, 2002 While "time may facilitate healing, it does not diminish the memories we have of Harvey. He was our friend and dedicated co-worker for 22 years and we were ill prepared for his passing last December. His photograph displayed in our technical workshop is testimony to the esteem in which Harvey is held by our organization. As a person who traveled the island and Labrador installing Sound and Communications Systems in Schools, Churches, Hospitals and a long list of Industrial projects, he will be remembered by Contractors as a person who went about his work with "quiet efficiency". I have no recollection of Harvey ever complaining about where he had to go in the course of his work. Harvey King has left a legacy that will keep his wife, Jean, daughter Susan and son Paul feeling proud to be part of his life. Harvey is being remembered by our company with respect and sincere appreciation for 22 years of devoted service. LUNDRIGAN In loving memory of a dear Son Donald Francis who died suddenly Dec. 28, 1999 age 41 Four years have passed, Since that sad day, When one we loved was called away. You bade no one your last farewell, You said goodbye to none, The heavenly gate came open, Almighty God took you home. A million times we needed you, A million times we cried, If love could have saved you, You never would have died. Don, there is someone who misses you sadly, And finds the time long since you went, There is someone who thinks of you always, And tries to be brave and content. Gone is the face we loved so dear, Silent the voice we loved to hear, Tis sad, but true, we wonder why, The best are always the first to die. Beside your grave we often stand, With hearts both crushed and sore, Silent til the sweet words come, Not lost, but gone before. God knows how much we love you, He counts the tears we shed, And whispers, "He only sleeps, your loved one is not dead". So we'll be brave dear Don, And pray to God each day, And when he calls us home to you, Your smile will guide the way. Forever loved and sadly missed by Mom and Dad. - December 29, 2003

TEMPLEMAN In loving memory of a loving Christian Mother and Father Statie Irene and Clarence Percival Poem found amongst Mother's possessions shortly after her passing: "When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no nights in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set free. Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your heads bowed low, Remember the love and the laughter we Shared, Miss me, but let me go. For this journey we all must make, And each must go alone, It's all a part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home. TUCKER In loving memory of a darling Son and Brother Stephen Barry Tucker who died December 23, 1989 age 7 years God gave us a wonderful son, His memory will never grow old, He fashioned his smile out of sunshine, He moulded his heart of pure gold. He needed a new star in heaven, A beautiful light to shine, So out of this old world of sorrow, He chose that dear son of mine. A bud the Gardner gave us, A pure and lovely child, He gave it to our keeping, To cherish undefiled. And just as it was opening, To the glory of the day, Down came the Heavenly Father, And took our bud away. Fondly loved and deeply mourned, Heart of my heart, I miss you so, Often my darling, my tears flow, Dimming your picture before my eyes. WOODS In fond and loving memory of a dear Husband and Father Robert (Bob) Woods who passed away Dec. 30, 1981 Age 64 years Husband: Peacefully sleeping, resting at last, His weary trials and troubles past, In silence he suffered, in patience he bore, Till God called him home to suffer no more. No morning dawns, no night returns, But that I think of you, Those left behind are very good, But none replaces you. You often said I'd miss you, Those words have proved too true, I lost my best, my dearest friend, Dear Bob, when I lost you. Dad: Time speeds on, twenty-two years have passed, Since death its gloom, its shadow cast, Within our home where all seemed bright, God took from us a shining light. We miss that light and always will, His vacant place there's none can fill, Down here we mourn but not in vain, For in heaven some day we will meet again. His memory is our keepsake, With which we will never part, God has him in His keeping, We have him in our hearts. We do not need a special day, Dad, To bring you to our minds, For the days we do not think of you, Are very hard to find. If all the world were ours to give, We'd give it, yes, and more, To see your face dearest Dad, Come smiling at the door. Dear God, take a message, To our father in heaven above, Tell him how much we miss him, And give him all our love. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on His soul. Ever remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Ange, son Rick, daughters Joanie and Anne. - December 30, 2003
