JACKSON Jim Jackson July 16, 1931 December 30, 2003 Dad You are a true angel. You gave to all without expecting anything in return. "He would give the shirt off of his back if someone needed it" We miss you more than words can say. ... AN ANGEL GOING HOME Born with all prospect you've chosen a road To give without taking and carry the load. You overcame all obstacles and finished the race In all life's events you came in first place. There's a part of us missing and our hearts feel the pain A great loss for us is heavens great gain. We should never feel sad or so alone Cause God has indeed called His angel back home. We would like to thank everyone that helped us deal with our loss. Thank-you to Dads' running mates and the kindness that they have shown. There are true angels here with us that words can not describe how we feel about them: Uncle Ed & Aunt Eileen who are the true meaning of family. Bob & Lib for their great warmth and compassion. LACEY In loving memory of a dear Mother Elizabeth Rita (Bess) September 11, 1927 - January 10, 2000 What is a mother? It takes a mother's love, To make a house a home, A place to be remembered, No matter where we roam. It takes a mother's patience, To bring a child up right, And her courage and her cheerfulness, To make a dark day bright. It takes a mother's thoughtfulness, To mend the hearts deep hurts, And her skill and her endurance, To mend little socks and shirts. It takes a mother's kindness To forgive us when we err, To sympathize in trouble And bow her head in prayer. It takes a mother's wisdom To recognize our needs, And to give us reassurance, By her loving words and deeds. It takes a mother's endless faith, Her confidence and trust, To guide us through the pitfalls, Of selfishness and lust. And that is why in all this world, There could not be another, Who could fulfill God's purpose, As completely as a mother. Helen Steiner Rice Lovingly remembered by daughter Ruth Ann, son-in-law Bud; grandchildren Jasmine and Emily. - January 12, 2004

Meehan passed away January 23, 1994 A happy home we once enjoyed, How sweet the memory still, But death has left a loneliness, The world can never fill. Broken is the family circle, Which we all treasure so dear, Not knowing how we will survive The pain and sorrow each year. But we will be brave, dear husband, dad, And pray to God each day And when He calls us home to you Your smile will guide the way. The good advice you gave to us, Your eyes that shone with laughter, So much of you will never die, But live on ever after. As we loved you, so we miss you, In our memory you are near, Loved, remembered, longed for always, Bringing many a silent tear. There is someone who misses you sadly, And finds the time long since you went, There is someone who thinks of you always, And tries to be brave and content. A wonderful father gone to rest, For all of us he did his best, His thoughts were good, his heart was kind, A better father you couldn't find. Gone is the face we loved so dear, Silent the voice we longed to hear, It is sad, but true, we wonder why, The best is always the first to die. Always loved and remembered by wife Gertrude and family. - January 26, 2004

MOORE In loving memory of Levon Moore June 7, 1958 - January 7, 2003 44 years A year has gone since we lost you, But the sadness still remains, You were taken before your time, And we all still feel the pain. We think that we may see you, With your fishing rod by a stream, It hurts deeply then to realize, We can see you only in our dreams. Take care of your mother and sister, We know that you hold their hand now, Know that we will never forget you, Memories of your smiles will go on. Ever loved, ever missed, Dad, Lorenzo, John Jr. and Caroline. - January 12, 2004

MORRISSEY Tribute to Joan Morrissey on the 26th Anniversary of her passing died January 10, 1978 age 44 years How could I ever forget that day, Twenty-six years since you went away. A policeman told me you had died, And all I could do now was cry. You asked me down for dinner that night, Little did I know your plans. You wanted to make sure I knew you lost your fight, And your life had come to an end. I went in through the back door, And as I walked into the kitchen I swore, The mess was so obvious to see, But two strapping policemen stopped me. They escorted me out to a car, Where they broke the news to me. They quietly said you had died, No details were given to me as I cried. Shock is a wonderful thing, It seems to take over your mind. Because it gets you through the very hard times, And it helps you to survive. Twenty-six years since you left me, It sounds like a really long time. But to me it was just yesterday, At least for me in my mind. I can never understand your thinking, What possessed you to leave me that day. You've missed so much, my life has changed In so many different ways. I remember you with love in my heart, And I don't blame you for what you've done. You are always there in the back of my mind, Twenty-six years is nothing when your mother leaves you behind. Written by Debbie Morrissey Stafford May 2003 Always remembered by family and friends. - January 12, 2004

NOSEWORTHY In fond and loving memory of a dear Wife, Mother and Grandmother Joyce Noseworthy (Skanes) who passed away January 10, 1993 There is an ache in our hearts, That years won't take away, A place in our hearts no one can fill, We miss you Joyce, and always will. God knows how much I miss her, Never shall her memory fade, Loving thoughts shall ever wander, To the spot where she is laid. In our hearts your memory lingers, Sweetly tender, fond and true, There is not a day dear Mother, That we do not think of you. We little knew when we woke that morn, The sorrow the day would bring, The call was sudden, the shock severe, To part with one we loved so dear. Sometimes it's hard to understand, Why some things have to be, In His wisdom God has planned, Beyond my power to see. Though her smile is gone forever, And her hand we cannot touch, Still we have so many memories, Of the one we loved so much. Her memory is our keepsake, With which we'll never part, God has her in His keeping, We have her in our hearts. O'DRISCOLL In loving memory of a dear Mother Elizabeth O'Driscoll October 24, 1910 - January 9, 2002 Because she was so dear, Her memory will live on, Just like the fragrance of a rose, Still lingers when it's gone. She had a nature you could not help loving, And a heart that was purer than gold, And this can be attested to, But all those who knew her. As they sat and enjoyed her, Great sense of humour, Which was reflected in her songs, And the funny jokes she told. Her humility, generosity, unselfishness, was unsurpassed, Her persevering faith in God, she retained until the last, She was the perfect example of a good Christian, As one person reflected on her past. A woman who was totally honest and kind, Who offered up her prayers for those in need, Whose faith was reflected in her good deed. Who had such a forgiving personality, that one could only conclude, That it was derived from her great belief in God, And her desire to follow the path of Christianity. Her keen mind and intellect, Which she retained to the very last, Was only equalled by her forgiving nature and empathy. A nature that will remain an inspiration to me, As I thank God today for giving me such a wonderful mother, As I reflect upon her past. Forever loved and remembered and sadly missed by her son Dominic. - January 12, 2004

Petten March 30, 1946 January 4, 2003 Precious Husband I am thinking of you today Harvey, But then that's nothing new, For I thought about you yesterday, And the day before that too. I remember the day I met you, And the day God made you mine, I remember the day God took you, And will till the end of time. It broke my heart to lose you, But you did not go alone, Part of me went with you, The day God called you home. I have lost my life's companion, A life linked with my own, And day by day I miss you more, As I walk through life alone. One year we've lived without you, Taking things day by day, Holding onto precious memories, That time can't take away. Cherished Father Dad, it's been said that time heals all sorrows But we know that isn't so, Because it hurts as much today, As it did one year ago. Our lives go on without you, And nothing is the same, We have to hide the heartache, When someone speaks your name. Though your smile is gone forever, And your hand we cannot touch, Still we have so many memories, Of you, our dear old dad, who we love so much. Not a day do we forget you, In our hearts you're always there, We love and miss you dearly, As it ends this our first year. If all the world were ours to give, We'd give it, yes, and more, To see the face of our loved one, Come smiling at the door. A beautiful memory of one so dear, We cherish still with love sincere; A day that comes with sad regrets, To one that we will never forget. Always in our hearts, Mom and Dad, brothers, sisters and their families. - January 05, 2004

SCAPLEN In loving memory of dear Husband Father and Grandfather Richard A. May 21, 1956 - January 1, 2000 I give you this one thought to keep - I am with you still - I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone - I am with you still - in each new dawn. Always in our hearts and minds, wife Diane; children: Rick (Kim), Jennifer; granddaughter Megan. - January 05, 2004

SKINNER In fond and loving memory of a dear Brother, Uncle & Son Thomas J. When evening shades are falling, And we sit in quiet alone, To our hearts come a longing, If he only could come home. Friends may think we have forgotten, When at times they see us smile, But they little know the heartache, Our smiles hide all the while. WHITE In loving memory of our precious Daughter Granddaughter and Niece Rebecca Lynn 2½ years Joined the Angels January 22, 1997 If we could have one lifetime wish, One dream that could come true, We would ask with all our hearts, For yesterday and you. Till roses lose their petals, Till the heather has lost its dew, Till the end of time, dear Rebecca, We will remember you. Keep her Jesus in Thy keeping, Until we reach that golden shore, Then dear Savior let us have her, And love her as we did before. YOUNG In fond and loving memory of a dear Husband Father Grandfather and Great-Grandfather Austin Young who passed away January 7, 1996 Husband: When all is still and silent, And sleep forsakes my eyes, My thoughts are in the silent grave Where my dear husband lies. Father: What we would give if we could say, Hello, Dad, in the same old way; To hear your voice, see your smile, To sit with you and chat awhile. So you who have a father, Cherish him with care, For you'll never know the heartache, Till you see his vacant chair. Grandfather: Eight years today our grandfather was called To his eternal rest; Gone where the angels sing so sweet, And taken when God knew best. We miss him here so very much, His presence oft seems nigh, But we hope in heaven to meet Where no one says good-bye. Great-Grandfather: He is gone but not forgotten, And, as dawns another year, In our lonely hours of thinking, Thoughts of him are always near.
