CHAFE, Leo J.
Passed peacefully away on April 9 at his home in Petty Harbour after a short illness, Leo Joseph Chafe, age 64 years. Leaving to mourn four sons: Joseph in Toronto, Francis in Newtown, Brendan in Petty Harbour and Gerard in Petawawa: four daughters: Patsy (Mrs. Richard Bradshaw), Toronto; Genevieve (Mrs. Michael Hearn), Petty Harbour; Sheila, Toronto; Regina, Petty Harbour; four sisters: Frances (Mrs. James Speck), Hoyles Home: Sister Mary Genevieve, Arkansas; Florence (Mrs. Allan Health), Texas; and Mary, (Mrs. Jerome Crawley), Holyrood; a dear friend Lucy Madden; three daughters-in-law: Elsie, Pauline and Kathy; 10 grandchildren and also a large circle of relatives and friends. Remains resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 12, 1980, at St. Joseph's Church, Petty Harbour.
