Churchill, Herbert
Passed peacefully away at 12:30 p.m., Sunday Aug. 25th, 1946, Herbert Churchill, beloved husband of Margaret Keating & father of Rita & Mildred Churchill. Funeral will take place from the residence of Mrs. Mary Goode, 13 Scott Street at 2:30 p.m., Monday. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, & let perpetual light shine upon him". Amen

Long, John
Passed peacefully away on Aug, 23rd, 1946, inst., John Long, in his 71st year. Leaving to mourn 2 sons in United States, one daughter Mrs. S. Donavan of this city. Private funeral, Sunday at 2:30 p.m., by motor hearse from Barrett's Funeral Home, Dick's Square. No flowers by request.

Parsons, Darius
Passed peacefully away Aug. 18th, 1946, Mr. Darius Parsons, aged 76 years, formerly of Greenspond, left to mourn besides his loving wife, one daughter, Mrs. John Harding, of this city, and one son, Rev. Dr. D. Roy Parsons, of Boston, USA; also 4 grandchildren. Funeral today, Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from his daughter's residence, 76 Barter's Hill, to the Pentecostal Tabernacle where a service is to beheld by Pastor Strong, after which the remains will be taken to the General Prostestant Cemetery for burial.

Paterson, Charles Clift
Passed peacefully away at the General Hospital on Sunday, Aug 25th, 1946, after a brief illness, Charles Clift Paterson, in his 43rd year. Leaving to mourn, father & mother, his daughter Mary Faith & step-son John Clift. Funeral by motor hearse on Tuesday, Aug 27th, at 2:30 p.m.,. from his late residence, 14 Gower Street. No flowers by request.

Redstone, Mary Perpetua
Passed peacefully away at 8:30 p.m., on Aug. 16th, 1946, Mary Perpetua, beloved wife of William Redstone, Forest Road. Leaving to mourn 2 daughters, Barbara & Joan, Mother & 2 sisters. Funeral notice later.

Woodland, Violet (nee Mercer)
Passed away suddenly, Saturday Aug. 24th. 1946, Violet (nee Mercer), beloved wife of Baxter Woodland; leaving to mourn their sad loss husband, one son Gerald, also mother, father & one brother & three sisters. Funeral Monday at 4 p.m., from her late residence, Empire Avenue West.
