Passed peacefully away on Saturday, August 30^th, 1997, Lilith Penton, aged 72 years. Predeceased by first husband Ronald Smith and children Yvonne, Bobby and Russell. Left with many loving memories her husband of 24 years, Leo Penton; children: Nicki (Nart Philpott), Sheila (Lloyd Penney), Ron Smith (Pat), Judy (Paul Kelly), Neil Smith (Janet), Lynn (Chris Marsh), Simone (Andrew Caddigan), Joan (Brian Hickey), Barry Smith (Heather), Gordon Smith (Marlene), John Smith (Sheri), Heidi Hynes (John), Brenda (Ron Croke); stepchildren; Leo Penton (Rosalind), Mary (Frank Keats), Cyril Penton (Heather), Patsy (Reg Earle), Bill Penton (Alana), Sheila (Aus Bennett), Paul Penton (Carol), Bob Penton (Karen), Joe Penton (Jennifer); 45 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; also brothers; Harry (Dot), Haig (Faith) and Gordon (Charmion); sisters; Nita (Lester) and Hazel (Cecil Bishop) and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, St. John’s. Funeral Mass 10 am Tuesday, September 2, 1997 from Mary Queen of Peace Church. Procession to Grand Falls, Tuesday, September 2nd, 1997. Resting at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 6-10 pm.. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Wednesday, September 3^rd, 1997.
