Marquis, Leo Arthur
Passed peacefully away in Cobourg, Ontario in his 68th year,
attended by his beloved wife Helen Marquis (nee Young), his only child
Renee Marquis-Antle, grandson Mark Leyton, son-in-law Paul Antle, nephew
Cecil Young and good friend Edna Tucker. Predeceased by his father
(Leo Rene) and mother (Irene Delma). A wonderful and honorable man
who will be missed by many, especially his three brothers; Raymond
(Caroline), Edward (Barbara) and Richard (Mary); and two sisters; Gloria
Robichaud (Maurice) and Rita Cote, all of Athol, Massachusetts; of
St. John’s; his brothers-in-law; Gordon (Anastasia), James (Geraldine),
sister-in-law Louise Young and his many nieces and nephews. Mr. Marquis
also leaves behind many friends, Masonic brethren and business colleagues,
especially Carl Sullivan (Janet), Gary Chaytor (Debbie) and a dedicated

Died suddenly at home surrounded by family, after a short illness with
cancer, on Sunday, August 23rd, 1998, age
44 years. Predeceased by his father, William, 1975 and sister, Eunice,

twins; Steven and Shawn and their mother Debbie Janes; mother Marie
Morgan; brothers; William (Buck) (Diane), Donny, Leo, Rick (Sheila),
