Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on Wednesday, December 4th, 1991, William J. Halliday, aged 53 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Madonna (nee Mullett); three children: Lisa (Mrs. Terry Duggan) Cape Broyle, Gail (Mrs. Robert Chafe), Darlene (Mrs. Greg Patey); four grandchildren: Amanda, Mariam, Janice and William; mother Mrs. William Halliday; two brothers: Clifton and wife Marie, John and wife Florence; two sisters: Betty Clarke, Doris Clarke and husband Victor; sister-in-law Mrs. Ruth Halliday. Predeceased by his father William and his brother Paul. Special thanks to the staff of 4 North A. Special thanks to Nurse Maureen Glynn. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road after 7 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 1991 at 2 p.m. from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church with interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Newfoundland Cancer Treatment and Research.
