GOVER, Catherine R.
Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, December 21, 1994, Catherine R. Gover of Small Point, age 60 years. Predeceased by son Stephen (1991). Leaving to mourn husband E. Clifton; two daughters: Joan (Donald) Parrell, St. John's and Beverly (Gerard), Small Point; 3 sons: Edwin, Kitchner, Ont., William (Connie), Dartmouth, N.S. and Leslie (Linda0, Small Point; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; one brother Philip (Emma) O'Leary, St. John's; 1 sister Mrs. Agnes Whitten, Torbay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WESTERN BAY, from where the funeral will take place on Saturday, December 24, at 10:30 a.m. Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Kingston. Flowers gratefully accepted. Visitation hours at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.

Hounsell, Eric Edgar
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, December 23, 1994, Eric Edgar Hounsell, aged 68 years. Beloved husband of Olga Pack. Loved father of Scott and Erica. Predeceased by his parents and three brothers. Survived by sister Rita Hancock of Templeman, Bonavista Bay, and brother Donald of Gander. Also survived by five sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Rested at Carnell's Funeral Home, Freshwater Road, where the family received friends. Funeral Service was held at St. James United Church on Monday, December 26, 1994 at 2:30 pm.. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers graciously declined. Donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Treatment Centre.

MARTIN, John (Jack) Milley - Passed peacefully away at the D. V. A. on December 22, 1994, John (Jack) Milley Martin, in his 81st year, WWII Veteran, 166 Regiment. Leaving to mourn his loving neice Hilda Organ, husband Willis; sons: Derrick and Shawn; one daughter Doreen Pettacio, husband Edward, son Stacey; brothers-in-law: Harry Constantine and Estella, Art Reid, wife Ruth, Robert Reid, wife Sadie, Fred Ebsary and William Hart; sisters-in-law; Edith Reid, Edith Hobbs, Jean Reid, Margaret Barg and husband Munden; special friend Joe at the D.V.A; special cousin Sol Martin; and a number of nieces, nephews; relatives and friends. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road. Funeral Service on Saturday, December 24 at 12:00 noon from St. Michaels Anglican Church with interment in the Anglican cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the C.L.B. Marching Home Campaign.
