From - The Evening Telegram, St. John's, Nfld, Febuary 25 & 26, 1976, pg 2
Missing presumed drowned, James Ryan, age 48 years, leaving to mourn wife Anita; one daughter, Elieen (Mrs. Ernest Coady), St. John's, one son, Reginald, at Calvert; mother, Mrs Bride Ryan; three sisters; Philamena, (Mrs. Aiden Keough) of Calvert, Helen (Mrs. James Clowe) of Calvert, and Sister Marie Ryan, Presentation Convent, Mass of requiem will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, Calvert, Thursday, Feb 26 at 7:30 P.M.
