Fleming, Donald W.
Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, February 3th, 1997, aged 43 years. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife Maureen (nee Lynch); his son Don Jr., (Geri); and darling granddaughter Amy (Poppy’s Little Girl); his parents, Dick and Zita Fleming; brothers; Richard, David (Marlene), Frank (Mary), Mike (Rose), Gordon (Nora), Jim (Geri), Garry (Barb), Val, Alex (Sue), Ron (Marion), Randy (Heather), Noel and John; sisters; Helen (Gerald Hayward), Anne (Robert), Rose (Gord) and Theresa; sisters-in-law; Patsy (Jim Powell), Helen Fleming, Mary (Randy Dwyer), Georgina (Ray Pelley), Theresa Malone, Louise Bennett; brothers-in-law; Tom Lynch, Jim Spurrell, Mickey and Alberta Lynch, Kevin and Barb Lynch; special relatives Donna Baker (Wayne); and a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to Noel, Rose, Sue, Patsy, Helen and to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre for being there during our time of need. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 6th, 1997 at 9:30 am from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.

WAKEHAM, Vincent

(Royal Navy Veteran of World War II), recipent of the Distinguished Service Medal for Bravery at the battle of Dunkirk, formerly employee of Marine Atlantic. Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Veterans Pavillion on Wednesday, Febuary 26, 1997, Vincent Wakeham D.S.M, aged 86 years. Predeceased by his wife Lillian: brothers, Tom, Paul and Howard: sisters, Winnie and Maude. Leaving to mourn three sons: Graham, (Ruth Peters), Fred (Wanda Piecey), Peter (Donna Meade): and two daughters, Margaret (Claude Moreau), Wynn-Ann in Toronto, six grandchildren Paul, Anna, Lisa, Mark, Nicholas, and Alicia also two brothers, James (Mary) Wakeham and Fred (Mel) Wakeham: three sisters, Sister Lillian Wakeham P.V.B.M., Margaret (Allan) Hayden and Marie (George) Adams; in-laws: Kay Wakeham and Almina Wakeham, Maragret Bulko, Ursulka Kielly, Mary Barron, Shiela Morry, Laura Williams, Jeannie Morry, Edgar (Emma) Morry, Jack (Margie) Morry, Doug (Nellie) Morry and Gerald Morry, many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnells Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday from 2-9 pm and Friday from 10 am to 9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, March 1st, 1997 from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist with internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
