Channing, Mary K.
Passed peacefully away, Saturday, January 29th, 1972, Mary K. Channing, daughter of the late James J. and Frances G. Channing. Leaving to mourn two sisters, Genevieve (Mrs. Leo O'Mara) at St. John's; Helen (Mrs. Fred L. Crozier) of Rockland, Maine; two brothers Frank and James G., both of the city; one brother-in-law W.J. Carew, CBE, with whom she resided. Remains resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral on Tuesday at 10 A.M to the R.C. Basilica for Mass. Interment in Belvedere Cemetery.

Miller, Mabel A.
Passed peacefully away after a long illness Mrs. Mabel A. Miller, of Long Pond, Manuels, beloved wife of Alfred W. Miller, in her 83rd year. Leaving to mourn besides her husband, one son Walter of St. John's, two sisters Kathleen (Mrs. K.J. Garland) and Myra (Mrs. R.E. MacWilliams) both residing at Belleville, Ontario. Also one sister Effie, Mrs. Albert Laughlin of Toronto; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Funeral on Tuesday at 2 P.M. Interment in the United Church Cemetery at Topsail.
