CHAFE, Samuel D.
At the Escasoni Home on Thursday, January 9, 1986, in his 91st year. Leaving to mourn one son Ron; one daughter Cavell; one brother Jack; two sisters: Lucretia and Fannie; special friend Florence Lund; 16 grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday from Barrett's Chapel. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Coombs, Ida (nee Greeley)
Peacefully after a lengthy illness at Carbonear General Hospital on January 1, 1986, in her 79th year. Leaving to mourn four daughters; Susie (Mrs. Bill Miller) Toronto, Bertha (Mrs. Ray Lundrigan), Ruby (Mrs. Harry Mercer) both of Upper Island Cove, Sadie (Mrs. Thomas Young) Tilton: one son Azariah of Toronto; three sisters; Elizabeth of USA; Bertha Greeley of St. John's and Mary Thistle of Pouch Cove; two brothers; Stewart Greeley of St. John's and Malcolm of Halifax; 17 grandchildren: 19 great grandchildren. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Young's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. Funeral on Friday, January 3 at 2 P.M. from St. Peter's Church, Upper Island Cove. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to St. Peter's Memorial Fund.

LeGrow, Thomas C.H.
Passed away at St. John's on Wednesday, January 1. 1986, in his 96th year. Leaving to mourn one son Alan of St. John's. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Burial to take place at Broad Cove. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
