Cashin, Douglas John
Douglas John, age 64. Passed peacefully away at Gambo on July 4, 1984. Left to mourn are sisters; Maude (Mrs. Leo Glavine), Nova Scotia, Mary Gauss, Baltimore, Maryland; brother; Ferg at Scotland, Harold at Harbour Grace, Ray at Gambo. Funeral Mass was celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Gambo on July 6.

Elliott, Rev. Gordon
Passed peacefully away at Notra Dame Memorial Hospital, Twillingate on July 15, 1984, Rev. Gordon Elliott, age 96 years. Leaving to mourn two daughters; Edith (Mrs. Wilson Manuel, of Twillingate; Jean, (Mrs. Harold Squires) of St. John's; one son Frank of Walmer, England, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral on Tuesday, July 17, 1984, at 10:30 A.M. from St. Peter's Church, Twillingate. No flowers please by request.

Hynes, Joseph Edward
Passed away suddenly at St. Clare's Hospital on July 19, 1984, in his 63rd year, Joseph Edward Hynes of Kelligrews, Veteran of WW11. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Ella; two brothers; John and wife Catherine, Stan and wife Doris, residing at Kelligrews; one sister Helen and husband Phillip Dwyer, Stephenville Crossing; several nieces and nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. Remains resting at Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Lung Association or charity of one's choice, Funeral Mass will be on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Edward's Church, Kelligrews. Interment at St. Edward's Cemetery.

Kennedy, Robert
Died as a result of a tragic car accident on July 5th, 1984, Robert Kennedy of Trepassey, age 21 years. Leaving to mourn his parents Ernest and Helen Kennedy of Trepassey; four brothers; Gerald (wife Lillian) of Ferryland; Donald of Trepassey, Ernest Jr. Trepassey and Ronald of Trepassey; two sisters; Agnes (husband Eugene) Morgan of Upper Gullies and Daphne of Trepassey, also one niece and one nephew and all his relatives and friends.
