St. Clare’s
Mercy Hospital, David J. Bolger, aged 86 years. Leaving
to mourn one brother Edward. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home on
84 LeMarchant Road. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 22nd,
1996 at 10:30 am from Holy Rosary Church in Portugal Cove. Interment
to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request.

Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park Nursing Home, St. John’s,
on Saturday, July 20th, 1996, Allan Knight Ellis,
in his 89th year. Past Master of Masonic Lodge St. Andrew
and a long-time member of the District Grand Lodge of Scotland. Leaving
to mourn his devoted and loving wife Allison; brother-in-law Douglas
Strong; and his loving nieces. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home,
328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Sunday, July 21st.
1996 . Funeral Service 2 pm Monday, July 22nd, 1996 from the Cathedral
of St. John the Baptist. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.

Passed away peacefully, after a long illness, at McAuley Convent on Sunday, July 7, 1996, aged 53 years. Predeceased by her father, Leo. Leaving to mourn besides the Sisters of Mercy, her mother, Mary; two sisters: Carmelita (Gerald) and Mary (Michael); five brothers: George (Karen), Bill, Leo (Jean), Michael, and Chuck (Cindy); seven nephews and six nieces, and many relatives, friends and former students, physicians and staff members at McAuley Convent and the Dialysis Unit at the General Hospital. Resting at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road. Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Church on Wednesday, July 10, 1996 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Belvedere Cemetery, St. John's.

Accidentally killed on July 20th, 1996, Anthony Owens,
age 43. Predeceased by parents, Roderick and Rose; and brother Brendan.

from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery,
Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart
