Passed peacefully away on June 27, 1987 at the Health Sciences
Complex, Elsie
Adams, in her 89th year. Leaving to mourn one daughter Margery Hynes;
two sons; John and his wife Shirley, Leonard and his wife Joyce; one sister
Mrs. Nina Young; nine grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Rested at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Funeral service took
place 2 p.m. Monday, June 29 from St. Augustine's Anglican Church. Interment
at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers contributions
may be made to Esacasoni Auxillary or The Canadian Heart Foundation.
Boone, Mahala Olive (nee White)
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Saturday,
June 27, 1987 aged 77 years. Leaving to mourn; loving husband
Harold; one daughter Winnifred and husband Al Simko of Colorado, USA; three
sons: Harvey and wife Shirley of Vancouver, Boyd and wife Una of Ontario
and Herb of St. John's; 10 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; one
brother Joe White and wife Violet of Carbonear; one sister Annie Ash and
husband Stan at Hant's Harbour; one sister-in-law Isabelle Boone of St.
John's. Rested at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road.

After a lengthy illness in hospital in Toronto, on Friday, June
26, 1987,
Mary, loving mother of Ruth (Mrs. Harold Keats); dear grandmother of George.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday morning from the Turner and Porter Peel
Chapel, Mississauga, Ontario. Interment St. John Dixie Cemetery, Mississauga.
