Age 59, of St. John’s. It is with great sadness we express the passing of a dear wife, mother and friend. Passed away, after a brave battle, at the Health Science Center on Wednesday, June 19^th, 1996. Leaving her husband of 41 years, Lawrence; mother Beatrice Sullivan; daughters; Donna Morin (Sylvain) and Bobbie; sons; Larry and Paul; 7 grandchildren; Gabrielle, Amanda, Jessica, Connie, Christie, Danielle and Tommy; many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Passed peacefully away on Thursday, June 20^th, 1996, after a sudden illness, Edward Patrick McNiven aged 58 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Rosemary in 1980. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on Friday, June 14, 1996, at the Palliative Care Unit at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, after a short illness, in her 63^rd year. Long-time employee of the Avalon Consolidated School Board, Beachy Cove Elementary. Predeceased by her husband Ernest and granddaughter Jennifer in 1988 and mother Annie in 1995. Leaving to mourn with fondest memories her daughter Beverly Squires (Don); sons; Dean and wife Lisa, Noel and wife Norman; four grandchildren; Kelly and Christopher Squires, Erin and April Miller; one sister Anna (White); two brothers; Jerome (Bun) and Hubert (Marg); sisters-in-law; Effie (Dinn), Joan (Walt Codner), Lavern (Hayward Miller) and Eileen (Neary); special friends; Mary, Les and Loretta Greeley; other relatives and friends.
