Passed peacefully away at the General Hospital after a short illness, John T. Barrington of Long Pond, Manuels, in his 58^th year. Leaving to mourn besides his loving wife, Annie, one daughter, Ruby; two sons; Alex and Edward; one sister, Pauline, at Detroit; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Remains resting at Caul’s Funeral Home. Interment from St. Joseph’s Church, Quidi Vidi Road at 10 am Tuesday. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request.

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, May 18th, 1975, Genevieve M. Shapter, widow of Edward J. Shapter, Portugal Cove Road. Leaving to mourn two sons; Maxwell and Edward; three daughters; Jean, Mrs. Walter Badcock; Margaret, Mrs. Fred Snow and Doris at home; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral from Caul’s Funeral Home on Wednesday for Mass at 11 am at Roncalli Chapel. Interment in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
