Cobham, Fanny (Frances Margaret) (nee Hammond)
Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Tuesday, May 7th, 1996, age 81 years. Predeceased by her daughter Paula; brothers; Mark, William and Merrill. Leaving to cherish her memory are her three sons; James (Joan), Paul (Vivian), Gary (Mildred); five grandchildren; Patrick, Michelle, Billy, Tammy and Christian; two brothers; Albert (Madeline), George (Mary); a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road after 7 pm Wednesday. Funeral Service will take place from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove at 2 pm Friday, May 10, 1996. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line, Portugal Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society.

Somerton, Andrew T.
WW11 Royal Navy

Passed away May 19th, 1996 at Cronin's Nursing Home, Kelligrews at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn two brothers Fred (Ethel), of Portugal Cove, Ambrose (Charlotte), Halifax, also sister-in-law Maude of Halifax. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home. Funeral on Wednesday May 22nd, 1996 at St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line, Portugal Cove.

STACK, Esther Mary (nee Kelly)
Passed peacefully away on Saturday, May 25, 1996 at the Health Sciences Center, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Esther Mary Stack, age 67 years. Predeceased by her husband Augustus and her sister Margaret Kelly. she leaves to mourn two daughters: Elizabeth and husband Jeff Benson, Margaret and husband Chad Nissen, Whitby, Ontario; one grandson Christian Jacon; three sisters: Mary St. Cyr, Kitcher, Ontario; Dorothy Lake, St. John's, Elizabeth Kelly, Curling; one brother Rev. Fr. W. Joseph Kelly, Curling. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 28, 1996 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Petty Harbour.
