born in England, married to George in England and together moved
to Canada and retired to the Comox Valley. Special thanks to Dr.

and the twinkle still in his eye, our beloved Father went willingly
to the arms of God and to the dear ones that went before. A reunion
to be envied. Predeceased by his wife and partner of 66 years,
Anne Jones, who left us on March 20 of this year; also his darling
daughter Carolyn, who left this life June 26, 1979. He leaves behind
two sons: Gary (Karen), Greg (Sandra), with whom he resided, and
special grandson Garth (Michelle), grandchildren: Nancy (Trevor),
Virginia, Amy (Ian), Matthew and Trevor; also great-grandsons Nathan
and Adam; and sister-in-law Mrs. Delphine Butler. At his request
cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett's
Funeral Home, Hamilton Ave., on Wednesday, November 7 from 10 a.m.
- 10 p.m.; and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon; From there
a memorial service will take place at St. John The Evangelist Church,

On the morning of November 8th our Mom, Dorothy,
died peacefully in Toronto with her five daughters at her side.
She had lived in St. John`s, Newfoundland from 1946 to 1956 and
was the loving wife of John G. (Jack), originally of Flatrock,
Nfld., who predeceased her in 1979. She will be remembered lovingly
by her daughters, Marilyn MacDonald (Leigh) and grandsons Geoffrey
and Michael, Dartmouth; Sheila McHugh (Al) and granddaughters Jennifer
and Merrin; Pat Dejardins (Michael) and grandsons Chris and Sean;
Anita Thachuk (Peter); and Barb Parsons (Ernest Balmer), all of
Toronto. She had been an active member of St. Clement`s Church
C.W.L. and volunteered at the Dartmouth General Hospital while
living in Dartmouth. She had resided in Toronto since 1986. PIKE, Francis - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences
Complex on Saturday, November 10 after a courageous battle with
cancer, aged 51 years. Predeceased by his mother and father, Mildred
in 1988 and John, 1993. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife, Rosalie;
son Justin; daughters, Misty Porter (Clarence), Sandy; special
niece and nephew Lisa and Richard; precious grandson Jonathon;
