The Telegram Obituaries
November 1940

 

Peyton, Joseph Lost somewhere at sea on Nov, 24th, 1940, Joseph Peyton, aged 29 years, of Mundy Pond, while serving in the Mercantile Marine. He leaves to mourn wife, mother, father, three sisters & four brothers. "May the Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on his soul".
