CHAFE, Mary (Sparkes)
Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at her residence in Kilbride, aged 56 years. Leaving to fond her husband Harvey, son Douglas, daughter-in-law Dorothy, only brother Harold and nephew Randy; also mourning are her five grandchildren Crystal Ann, Madonna, Douglas Jr., Jillien Ann, and Paul; her special Aunt Nan Lush and a large circle of relatives and friends in St. John's and Labrador City. Funeral was held November 16th from Caul's Funeral Home with Mass at Corpus Christi Church. Interment at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.

CORBETT, Michael
Passed peacefully away at the Cabot Guest Home, Brigus, on Friday, November 15, 1985, Michael Corbett, of Otterbury, Clarke's Beach, aged 88 years. He leaves to morn his wife Mary (nee Byrne); and a large number of nieces and nephews including Carmel Marshall of Brigus, Philomena Chafe of St. John's, Nicholas Fowler of New Jersey, Sister Angela Fowler of McCauley Hall, St. John's, Leo Fowler of Gander, Ignatia Madden, Pauline Melvin, Vera Whelan of Grand Falls and Doris Chafe, Petty Harbour, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moores Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach. Funeral Mass to be held on Monday, November 18th at 10 a.m. at All Hallows Church, North River. Interment in the R.C. Cemetery, North River.
