Passed peacefully away St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in the presence of her family, Anna Curran (Windsor) of Ferryland, on September 1st, 1996, age 70 years.
Left to mourn with a lifetime of loving memories, husband; Paddy, children, Wilf (Gail); Janet (Rick Kenny); Chris (Debby), Heather (Gary Sullivan) and John (Marlene); daughter-in-law Rosemary Curran; grandchildren; Lori, Lana, Erin, Alicia, Ciaran, Shauna and Hannah Curran, Susan, Dale, and Sarah Sullivan, Lee, Mark and Grant Kenny; brothers; Algy (Anna) Windsor of Aquaforte, Bruce (Helen) Windsor, Kilbride; sisters; Dororthy Keough and Grace (Claude) Stoodley; Aquaforte; sisters-in-law; Mercedes Clowe and Anna Curran, Ferryland, Margaret Curran, Jerseyside, Placentia; brother-in-law James Curran; Boston, Mass; and large circle of family and friends that she made welcome into her home. Age 33, formerly of Merasheen Island, Placentia Bay, Nfld.
Passed away September 25, 1996 at his sister's residence in
Richmond, B.C. after a short battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn his mother
Leona Jarvis (Fulford) and step-father William Jarvis, Dunville; four brothers;
Donatus and Raymond, Marystown, P.B.; Donald, Edmonton; David, Richomd, B.C.;
five sisters; Bernice Best, Southern Harbour, Theresa Ralph, B.C.; Trina Crewe,
Mount Pearl; Florence and Bernadette, Hamilton, Ontario; and 99 year old grandmother,
Theresa Pomroy, Placentia; and a very special friend Eliana; and a large number
of relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father William Fulford;
three brothers; Kevin, age 26; Dennis, age 35; and baby Donald, 9 months
old; and sister Marion, age 16. Funeral Services at Dunville, P.B. at a time
to be announced. Dearly loved and sadly missed by all.

Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Inter-Faith Home
in Grand Bank on Tuesday, September 24, 1996, Mr. Simeon Grandy of
Grand Bank, in his 83rd year. He leaves to mourn his wife Caroline;
one daughter Joan, Mrs. Rowland Rideout, Grand Bank; four sons; Gordon and
wife Mary, Grand Bank, Arthur, wife Christine, St. John's; George, wife Doreen,
Grand Bank, Eric, wife Doris, Grand Bank; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren;
two sisters; Mrs. Harriett Hickman and husband George, Grand Bank, Mrs. Annie
Matthews, Halifax; one brother James Grandy and wife Delsey, Grand Bank. He
is predeceased by his daughter Lucy and sister Emily. Remains rested at Warren's
Funeral Home, Grand Bank. Funeral Servide took place on Thursday, September
26th at 2 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank. Interment at the
Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. Donations may be made to The Canadian

Passed peacefully away on September 24, 1996, at Montreal,
Quebec, Jean Paul, aged 70 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 50 years

the Health Science Complex, on September 26, 1996, James Miller,
aged 81 years. WW11 Veteran. Leaving to mourn his children; James (Francis);

Hospital on September 12, 1996, Barbara Milley of Botwood, age 58 years. Predeceased

Passed suddenly away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on September
27, 1996, Mary (Pat) Morry. Leaving to mourn one son, Dr. Peter (Jo)
Morry of Houston, B.C.; one daughter, Paula (Ron) Kruk, Kirkland, Quebec; five
grandchildren; very special niece, Fredris Caines, St. John's; also many other
relatives and friends. At Mary's request cremation has taken place. The family
will be receiving visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from
2-4 p.m. Sunday. A Memorial Service will take place from The Carnell Memorial
Chapel at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 1996 with interment in the Roman Catholic
Cemetery, Ferryland, at a later date. In honor of her memory, her family
and friends will be gathering for a special farewell at her residence in Ferryland
on Monday, September 30, 1996 from 2-4 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations
in her memory may be made to The Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation, Sudden
Death Syndrome Research or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

St. John's, Nf) on September 23, 1996, Bernard (Bud) Power,
aged 55 years. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Nora Power, and brother
Fred (Ted). He will be sadly missed by his wife Gloria (Whitty); children;
Deborah Kohlruss (Darryl), Bernard, Jerome, and Danielle; one brother; six

Calgary, Alberta, on Friday, September 27, 1996.

Passed peacefully away in Toronto, Ontario, on
September 19, 1996, Lillian Rowe (Smith), age 86. Left with loving memories
