CRANE, Mary E.
Formerly of Cambridge; 98

LOWELL - Mary E. Crane of Lowell, formerly of Cambridge, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 8, 2007, at the Fairhaven Nursing Home in Lowell. Mary was born on November 3, 1909, in Newfoundland, Canada, daughter of the late Joseph & Elizabeth (Barrett) Crane. Mary came to the United States at a very early age from Newfoundland, Nova Scotia to Magnolia, MA, and later resided in Cambridge, MA. Throughout her life Mary worked at various positions, she was governess to the children of the Saltonstalls of Mass and the Saks families. Mary retired from Raytheon in Waltham & Quincy after 33 years. Mary’s hobbies included crocheting, needlework, & sewing, at which she excelled. Mary’s greatest gift was her love of children and being a good friend to everyone. She will be missed by all. Mary is survived by her cousins Dorothy Newell of Dracut, formerly of Wilmington, Beverly & Myles Gardner of Dracut, and her many friends.
CRANE - of Lowell, Mary E., age 98, died December 8, 2007. Visiting hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 87 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62) Wilmington on Thursday, December 13th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m.
