It is with great sadness that the family of the late Linda Bennett announce
her passing at The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Friday, February
27th at the age of 52 years. She will be sadly
missed by her common law husband Marcel Nurse, her children Jason Bennett
and Tracey Welsh (Wayne), both in Alberta, her stepsons, Marcel Jr. in
Alberta and Mitchell in Trenton. Also leaving to mourn her father Vern
Abbott (Elaine), her six brothers: Gilbert (Debbie) Abbott in NS, Allan
Abbott in Ontario, Vern (Donna) Abbott and Ralph (Sandi), all in Kippens,
Farron (Tommy) and Mark Abbott, all in Alberta, one sister Sherry (Gerard)
Dollard in Stephenville and her three grandchildren: Nicholas, Michaela,
Shauna and her children's father, Tony Bennett. She was predeceased by
her mother Doreen and her grandson Kyle. Visitation will take place at
Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive on Monday from 2 - 4 and
7 - 9. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 3rd at 2 p.m.
from St, Stephen's Parish on West Street. Cremation to follow. Funeral
and interment will take place in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on
the Hansen Highway on Wednesday at 2 p.m.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stella Bennett announce
her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center on Thursday,
February 26th, 2009 at the age of 94 years. She will
be sadly missed by her four daughters: Genevieve Boland, Marie Williams
and Geraldine Bennett, all of Stephenville and Claudia Mason of Texas.
Also leaving to mourn are her 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren
and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her
husband, Michael C. Bennett; one son, Lloyd Bennett; one daughter, Irene
Martinez; one brother, Lloyd Gallant and one sister, Mary Bennett. Visitation
will take place on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville.
Funeral service will take place on Monday, March 2nd at 10:00 a.m. from
St. Stephen's Parish on West Street. Interment to follow at Hillside

The death of Helen May Matheson, wife of the late Edgar Matheson, occurred
on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born
1920 in Montreal, Que., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ethel
(Mercer) Sheppard. Helen worked as a Savings Clerk at the Bank of Nova
Scotia for several years. She is survived by two daughters May Matheson-Thomas
(Aubrey) of Yarmouth, Maine and their daughters Megan Thomas Genthner
(Michael) and Aubin Thomas, both of Maine and one great grandson Max
Genthner, Maine; Marie Matheson (Nick Soper) of Gander, NL and their
children Robin Soper, California, Hilary Soper and Katie Soper, of NL.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Dale Mosher announce his
sudden passing in North Bay, Ontario on Wednesday, February 4,
2009.
Dale leaves to mourn his son, Jamey (Alberta), his mother Gladys Mosher,
twin brother, David (Ann), brothers, Wayne (Lillian) and Jamie (Jody)
and sisters: Beverly Dolter (Mike) and Sharon Murphy (Frank), nieces:
Shawna, Ashley and Christine, nephews: Shawn, Jason, Stephen, Alex, Robbie,
Matthew and Zachary as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Dale
has now gone to be with his beloved father, George and brother, Gordie.
He also leaves behind his good friends, Kenny and Dan who reside in North
Bay and many other friends too numerous to mention. Dale was a free spirit
whose love of the outdoors was well known. He was happiest on the ice,
sitting in his ice shack over an open fishing hole. He will be forever
missed and remembered. Cremation has taken place at Martyn's Funeral
Home in North Bay, Ontario according to Dale's wishes and he will be
returned to Corner Brook on Thursday to be with his family. A memorial
service will take place on Friday, February 13, 2009 at First United
Church, 11 Park Street at 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend. As an expression

10, 2009 at 2 P.M. from Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with
Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
