Amy loved her wonderful life which focused on her family, friends and hobbies, especially gardening. Her friendships lasted a lifetime. A true woman of Newfoundland, she respected hard work, from raising her seven children to picking berries, drying capelin and running a very successful business. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out. One of her main goals in raising her family was to ensure they pursued and received a good education. Later in life, she loved to spend her winters surrounded by friends from across NL in sunny Florida, where she loved a competitive game of cards, travel and the cultivation of more friends. All those who knew her well use a single word to describe her: "sweet". She is now resting in peace and will be sadly missed by all.
