TRINITY BAY MARRIAGES

This is to certify that WILLIAM PITTMAN, bachelor, and MARY KELSON?, spinster, both of Trinity, were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this seventeenth day of  November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, William Pittman and Mary Kelson, in the presence of us, Wm. Kelson, ?? Kelson, ?? Kelson, Samuel? Pittman?, ???  ???, ??? Pittman,  ??? ???, witnesses to the said marriage.

 

This is to certify that JAMES PITCHER, bachelor and SARAH HOOKEY, spinster, of Old Bonaventure, both of them, (sic),  were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this nineteenth day of  November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

This is to certify that AGUSTUS TIBBS, of Trinity, bachelor, and MARY ABBOTT,  spinster, of British Harbour, were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this twenty-fourth day of  November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, Agustus Tibbs and Mary (X) Abbott, (X being her mark), in the presence of us, Sarah Christian?, Rosa (X) Bartlett, Mary (X) Addle? Thomas (X) Tibbs, Mark (X) Hurdle?, Heber Reginald (X) Tibbs, (X) being their marks, witnesses to the said marriage.

 

This is to certify that THOMAS FOWLOW, of North Side, Trinity, bachelor, and SUSANNAH MILLER, of New Bonaventure, spinster, were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this third day of  December in the year of our Lord one Thousand  Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

This marriage was solemnized between us, Thomas (X) Fowlow and Susannah (X) Miller, (X being their marks), in the presence of us, Thomas (X) Fowlow, Joseph (X) Miller, ??? (X) Fowlow, Philip Fowlow, Susannah (X) Fowlow, John Fowlow, and Elizabeth Fowlow, (X) being their marks, witnesses to the said marriage
