This is to certify that, JOSEPH PRIME, of Cambridge, England, bachelor, and MARTHA HANSOM*, widow, of Trinity, were married at Saint Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this twentieth day of September, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Eight, by me, Benjn Smith, Minister.

* The original entry for the groom’s name, was Reginald Kido (or Hido) Mills. A line was later drawn through the second name, ‘Kido’, and what looks to be the word, ‘Burrage’, written just above it, with no explanation. There were ten witnesses, but this area of the page is much faded and blurred, and there appears to be a smudge running vertically through it, making the names very difficult to decipher  with any confidence – Transcriber.

 

This is to certify that, CHARLES GRANGER, widower, and MARY LOCKYER, spinster, were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this fifteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-nine, by me, Benjn Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, Charles Granger and Mary Lockyer, in the presence of us, George Lockyer, ??? Lockyer, Maria? Granger, Rachel Morris, Charlotte Granger, Mary (X) Lockyer, ??? Granger. (X being her mark), witnesses to the said marriage.

 

This is to certify that JAMES PITTMAN, bachelor, of Cruikorne?, Somerset, England,  and ISABELLA WHITE, spinster, of Trinity, were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this seventh day of May, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-nine, by me, Benjn Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, James (X) Pittman and Isabella White, (X being his mark), in the presence of us, James Ivamy, Mary Ann Pittman, ??? Granger, ??? Pittman, ??? ???, James Chisolm, William Granger, witnesses to the said marriage.*
