Sports Archives of Newfoundland and Labrador

The Archives is located in Room 18 of the Colonial Building and is presently open to the public by appointment only. The Archives consists of personal and business correspondence, collectanea, scrapbooks, over 5,000 photographs relating to Newfoundland and Labrador sports and sports personalities, clippings documenting Newfoundland sports history, ephemera, minute books, record books, financial statements, and other sports organizational records from approximately 1820 to the present. Finding aids will become available as series are processed. A guide to the holdings is available.
