To his excellency the governor in council,

The petition of the undersigned humbly ?? That your petitioners are duly qualified residing in an area or section of the of the electoral district of Trinity comprised or bound as follows that the said area or section contains the harbour of New Perlican or settlement from the entrance of Turks Cove to the entrance of Heart's Content that your petitioners are ??? And humbly pray your excellency in council that a procomantion or notice be issued under the ?? Of an act to provide for the better preservation of sheep and for other purposes prohibiting the keeping of dogs within the above described area or section of the said district and the petitioners will ever pray.
