I beg leave to transmit herein to a petition from Chapel Arm and Norman's Cove praying that a Post office may be established there. The population interested in this ??? Number about three hundred who are distant 12 miles from a Post office south and 7 or 8 miles from a Post office north.

I respectfully recommend the application to the formourable (???) consideration of the Government

Dear Sir
We whose names are do earnestly beg that you will grant us the benefit of Way Office at Norman's Cove Chapel Arm. Our present population are 500 more or less, there is no office within twelve miles south and 7 or 8 miles north of this place. We pray that you will see the necessity of an office in this place and grant our request and your petitioners as in duly bound will ever pray.
