Will of Edward Bishop from Newfoundland will books volume 14 pages 215-216 probate year 1928

In re
      EDWARD BISHOP.       DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Bishop, of Wesleyville, in the Island of Newfoundland, Trader.
I, Edward Bishop being of sound disposing mind and memory and understanding, do hereby will, devise and bequeath as follows:-

  1. Unto my wife Annie Bishop and Sidney Hill, both of Wesleyville, the Schooner "Kasaga" together with the three cod-traps, two motor boats and engines and fishing gear used in the said Schooner, - share and share alike.
  2. Unto my wife Annie Bishop and Annie Blackwood of Wesleyville the Schooner "Strathcona" together with the three cod-traps, two motor boats and engines and other fishery gear used in the said Schooner, - share and share alike.
  3. Unto Sidney Hill that piece of land upon which he has a dwelling house, the boundary to run in a straight line from the main road (six feet south of the said dwelling house) to the water and to include store and half the flake, being the half nearest his dwelling house.
  4. Unto my wife Annie Bishop during her natural life and after her decease to go and revert to Edward Blackwood and Cluney Gordon Blackwood, sons of Albert Blackwood, the dwelling house I now occupy together with all its contents, also the shop building, stores wharves and the small building formerly used by the Bank of Nova Scotia and all land in connection therewith, also the stock in trade, debts and implements of trade, share and share alike between Edward Blackwood and Cluney Gordon Blackwood, after the decease of my wife Annie Bishop.
  5. Unto my wife Annie Bishop and Annie Blackwood all other monies and every other property that I may die possessed of, share and share alike.

      I hereby revoke all wills and other testamentary dispositions made by me at any time heretofore. I appoint Albert Lewis Blackwood, of Wesleyville to be the sole executor of this my last will and Testament and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

      Dated at Wesleyville this 20th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty seven.<p></p>
