Last will and Testament
of John Blundon
of Bay de Verde Planter Deceased.

This is the last will and testament of John Blundon, planter of Bay de Verde Newfoundland. I hereby give devise and bequeath to my youngest son John his male heirs and executors for his and their own use and benefit, absolutely forever My dwelling house and furniture fish and oil houses, flakes stage gardens one behind my son James dwelling house & the other on Blundon's Point. The dwelling house now occupied by Joseph Emberly & all the rooms at present in the occupation of the afsd. Joseph Emberly comprising dwelling house part of stage flakes & house gardens & all other my property whatsoever and wheresoever situated. With this only proviso, that Joseph Emberly is not to be interrupted in the occupation of his dwelling house & room to make a permit fish rent free during his lifetime.
NB my room and property aforementioned is never to go out of the name of the Blundon's nor to be occupied or rented to others than Protestants. I hereby appoint my friends Moses Blundon & William Blundon the executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of April in the year of our Lord 1884 John his x mark Blundon Signed by the said John Blundon Sr. in the presence of us present at the same time who in the presence of each other attest & subscribed our names as witnesses thereto G.
