In re DECEASED.
LAWRENCE BROPHY.
THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me LAWRENCE
BROPHY of Pearlton in the electoral district of ST. John's West in
the Island of Newfoundland, Farmer.
I revoke all former wills by me at any time made and I appoint my son James the executor of this my will.
I give devise and bequeath all the
farm now occupied by me together with the dwelling house barns and erections
thereon to my son James and all furniture in the said house and the farming
implements used in connection with the said farm. I give devise and
bequeath to my son Lawrence my farm known as "Duncans Farm" together with the
farm house barn and other erections thereon and all the contents thereof.
My
grazing land on the Heavy Tree Road is to be equally divided between my sons
James and Lawrence.
My cows are to be equally divided between James and Lawrence and James is to have two horses and waggon and Lawrence is to
have one horse and express.
The said bequests are made on the condition
that my daughter Elizabeth is allowed to have her home with my son James and
she is to occupy for her sole personal use my kitchen, pantry and the room
now occupied by her as a bedroom. My two sons James and Lawrence are to pay
her between them the sum of Forty dollars a year in addition to supporting
and maintaining her until her death or marriage.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto my hand subscribed this
eleventh day of June A.D. 1925.

Signed published and declared by the said testator as and for his last will
and testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at his
request and in his presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
attesting the due execution thereof (the same having first been read over and
explained to the said testator who appeared to fully understand the same and
who signed the same by marking his mark thereto in our presence)
