Will of Thomas Burke from Newfoundland will books volume 14 pages 196-197 probate year 1928

In re
      Thomas Burke.       DECEASED.

In the name of God. Amen.

This is the last will and testament of me, Thomas Burke, made at St. Jacques, Fortune Bay in the Southern District of Newfoundland, this Second day of July, 1925.
I will and desire that the executor hereinafter named, as soon after my death as will be convenient, will pay out of my estate the sum of $100.00 (One hundred dollars) to the Reverend Father M. Brosnan, as offering for the benefit of my soul and the soul of my late wife.
I give, devise and bequeath to my son, Cornelius Burke, my home at St. Jacques on the Eastern side of the harbour together with the water front adjacent and the contents of the said home.
I give, devise and bequeath to my son, Joseph Burke, my share in New York, Newfoundland & Halifax Steamship Co. Ltd.
My interest and monies due me from the firm of Dennis Burke, formerly known as the firm of D.J. & T. Burke, St. Jacques, are to be divided in equal proportions among my children, William Burke, Antony Burke, Cornelius Burke, and Mrs Blanche O'Connor, or their heirs.
I will and desire that the sum of $100.00 (one hundred dollars) be paid out of my estate to The Community of Presentation Nuns at St. Jacques.
The remainder of my property real or personal I will to be divided in equal proportions amongst my children after the above mentioned bequests have been provided for.
Being of sound mind and memory I hereby appoint
The Reverend Father Michael Brosnan, Roman Catholic Priest of the Dioceses of St. George's Newfoundland, to be the executor of this my last will and Testament and I revoke all former Wills and Testaments made by me.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above written.

Signed, published and declared by the above named Thomas Burke as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us, both being present at the same time, who at his request and in his presence have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses.
