Patience Butler

In the name of God Amen.
I Patience Butler (widow) of Foxtrap in the electoral district of Harbour Main being very sick in body but of sound mind and memory do ordain and make this my last will and testament.
First. I give and bequeath to my grand-nephew Charles Porter that piece of land North of the main road and bounded as follows, on the west by William Butler, on the east by James Butler, on the south by the Main Road and on the North by Samuel Porter. My house and cellar which is on this land is to be taken off it by Samuel Butler and placed on his own land and I do hereby revoke, disallow, and disanull all and every other former will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 30^th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty eight.

Signed sealed published and pronounced by the said Patience Butler as her last will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto have subscribed our names as witnesses.
