Will of Charles Cave, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 237 probate year 1930

IN RE.          DECEASED

          Charles Cave (of George)

In the name of God amen.

This is the last will and testament of me Charles Cave of George Boot and shoe maker of Bay Roberts Newfoundland, being of sound mind and understanding do this twenty ninth day of February one thousand nine hundred and twenty eight. I give bequest and direct to my wife Elizabeth Jane my property consisting of land dwelling house shoe shop outhouses cellar and all chattels on land connected therewith.
I further give and bequest that lot of land on back north side bounded by Stephen Cave and Samuel Mercer.
After the death of my said wife I give and bequeath everything of which I may die possessed unto my son George C. Cave for his sole absolute use and benefit except furniture and etc in house which may be distributed among my Son's and Daughters at my sons George discretion.
I also give and bequeath to my son George C. all my tools and fixtures in my work shop for his use and absolute benefit. After my wife decease what money might be on hand after all funeral and other expenses are paid. To be equally divided among my two sons and three daughters a small portion from which to be given my grand children by my late daughter Maud such amount to be decided by discretion of my son George. Hereby I appoint my son George C. my executor and declare this to be my last will and testament. Dated at Bay Roberts Feb 29th 2928.
Signed published and declared as and for his last will and testament by the said testator Charles Cave of George in our presence who in his presence of each other all present at the same time have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

          This is to certify that I have this day made over to my son George C. as a deed of gift that piece of land known as the Autrbury
February 23rd 1915.
