Will of Archibald Chaulk, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 368 probate year 1931

Archibald Chaulk.

I, Archibald Chaulk of the village of Elliston in the Dominion of Newfoundland and the Electoral District of Bonavista East, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make my last will and testament in manner and form following.
First;- I give devise and bequeath to my brother Isaac Chaulk that parcel of land bounded on the East by George Bakers land on the West by Samson G. Trasks land on the North by Thomas Trasks and on the South by road leading to Northern Cove.
Second; I give devise and bequeath to Willie Job Chaulk that parcel of land on Dones Road, bordered on the north and west by Amaziah Oldfords land on the East by said road on the south by Fred Chaulks land.
Third; I give devise and bequeath to Harold Chaulk that parcel of land on the back of my house.
Fourth; I give devise and bequeath to Willie Job Chaulk my dwelling house and cellar with land surrounding these also part of the old store the other part is to belong to my brother Isaac John Chaulk.
Fifth: The bed in the house which formally belonged to the late William Chaulk is to be the property of Minnie Caulk daughter of Mrs James Synard
Sixth: The suit of black clothes and black overcoat is for Isaac John Chaulk
Seventh: My brown overcoat is to be the property of Samuel White.
Eighth; The bed on which I lay while ill is for Isaac John Chaulk.
Ninth: The matress in the upstairs front room of my house is to be Harold Chaulk
Tenth: The picture of the late William and John Chaulk is for Mrs James Synard and that of the late William Chaulk alone is for Samuel White. All bed clothes is to be divided between Samuel White, Isaac John, Willie Job and Harold Chaulk also all the utensils and other articles in the house are to be divided among these said people.
I leave Samuel White in charge of my bank book and the money now in the bank in my name, after headstones have been purchased and Mrs Isaac John Chaulk has been paid for looking after me, is to be divided among Samuel White, Isaac John, William Job and Harold Chaulk. I leave my watch to Samuel White.
Lastly; I hereby appoint Job E. Coles executor of this my last will.
