IN RE. DECEASED
ELIJAH CHURCHILL.
This is the last will and testament of me Elijah Churchill of Portugal Cove in the Electoral District of St John's East in the Island of Newfoundland Fisherman.
First I give and Bequeth unto my wife and two sons William John and Edward Churchill my land to be Divided in three parts each one to have an equal share Second I give and bequeath unto my wife and too sons five head of cattle to be equaly divied Thirdly. I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Churchill my house and my wife and my and my other son William John.
To live with him so long as they agree together with him, and fourthly I give and bequeath unto my two sons William John and Edward my horse carage slay carts and barn to be equaly divided between them and fifthly I give and bequeath unto my too sons William John and Edward Churchill a piece a block of land containing twenty acars to be equaly divided between them and sixly I give and bequeath unto my too sons a piece of land to be equaly divided between them, and lastly I give and bequeath unto my two sons William John and Edward all my interest in the water side premises house two flakes too gardens one motor boath nets and all my fishing gear to be equaly divided between them. Lastly I appoint Arthur Churchill and Peter Churchill Executors of the last will & testament.
IN Witness whereof I the said Testator hereby subscribe my name and seal this first day of July in the year our Lord nineteen hundred and twenty two.
