Will of John Cole from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 447 probate year 1929 In re DECEASED This is the last will and testament of me, John Cole of Carbonear, Newfoundland
I will devise and bequeath all the property both real and personal by me possessed
when I die to Frederick Northcott and Henry Ash in equal proportions, provided
that the Eastern End of my dwelling house may be occupied by my wife, Mary
Jane Cole until she dies or remarries, provided further that my said wife is
not to bring any person or persons to live with her permanently in the said
dwelling house and the said wife is to leave everything in the said dwelling,
provided further that Robert Ash is to have and I hereby bequeath to him my
horse and cart my slide and my hay, and he is to put a railing around my grave
and to erect a suitable tombstone to my memory. I hereby appoint Ernest
Forward executor to this my last will and testament.
Signed by the said John Cole, the Testator in the presence of us present at
the same time who in his presence and the presence of each other subscribed
our names as witnesses. CORRECT (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
