Will of James Conran from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 519 probate year 1931

IN RE                    DECEASED.
James Conran

I James Conran being of sound mind tho very sick do hereby make my last will and testament.
I hereby devise and bequeath to my son John half of my cabbage garden, and half of Micl Barron's place.
The remaining half of the aforesaid places to my son Edward.
The remainder of the land occupied by me I bequeath to my son Edward.
I bequeath to my son Edward my house, shop, and outhouses but my son John is to have the use of his room, and the parlour as long as he lives here, the horse, wagon, sleighs, slides & harness are to be used conjointly by my sons, Edward and John. With regard to my business stock is to be taken, my just debts are to be paid, and whatever surplus may be over to go for masses for my soul.
