This is the last will and testament of me, George G. Cotter of Channel on the Southern district of Newfoundland. Shop Keeper.
I hereby give and bequeath to my niece Mary E. Halfyard also of Channel aforesaid all my real estate and personal property of every description and wherever situated and I hereby appoint the said Mary E. Halfyard to be sole legatee and executrix and I now revoke any former will made by me, and declare this to be my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my hand this thirteenth of August in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty nine at Channel aforesaid.

Signed by the testator in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other at the same time subscribe ourselves as witnesses
